One of my favorite places to visit when I go home to Pittsburgh. I have an operating Lionel O scale model of PCC 1711, a static O scale PCC in Pittsburgh colors by Corgi, and an operating HO PCC by Con-Cor that has KENNYWOOD on the destination sign.

This was just awesome, I remember when trains ran in and around department stores. Last time I'd seen something like this was in Anaheim California. They rented a space and put a temporary layout for the holidays.

The caption at 2:55 with the story of the first use of Westinghouse Air Barke was installed on the PRR commuter train that traveled west thru the suburbs of Sheraden, Ingram , Crafton , Carnegie and west to Steubenville. Those tracks ran on the hill behind the house across the street from our boyhood home. We saw the robot and his dog, 10:00, at the Grand Opening of the KDKA TV studios at Gateway Center. But the dogs name was Sparktac , not Sparko. We even got a souvenir button at that time.

Hello Curt.... Great short preview video of the Science Center. I've been in there once or twice as an assistant for a RR presentation that a friend was giving but oddly enough I have never had the time to spend two or three hours in there on my own. Quite fascinating Your video as inspired me to put a visit on next springs todo calendar when I return from Fla in mid April. The same goes for the new trolley museum tour here in Wash, Pa./ & I only live 3 miles from it..!! Maybe next spring the radio / trolley gang can come down for a day trip.??😃
