I play Dungeons & Dragons and Baldur’s Gate 3
What if Gale decides to blow up the Netherbrain in Baldur's Gate 3?
The brain rot is spreading in Baldur's Gate since the rise of the mind flayer colony, and only one hero can end this once and for all. Mystra, the Goddess of Magic, entrusted her chosen, Elminster, to bring news to Gale of Waterdeep: To detonate the nether orb when Gale faces the Netherbrain, and end the dead three's schemes. Of course, Ketheric, Orin and Gortash will have no knowledge of this, and the same goes for Gale's companions. In this hectic ride into the bizarre world of Dungeons & Dragons, alongside Shadowheart, Lae'zel and Wyll, how will Gale face his doom, will Tara gives him the ring, and what's the deal with Raphael and Withers? Let's find out.

Any time WotC posts a new version of a specific instance, like a race or spell, the legacy version is no longer legal. So the utterly broken VGM Yuan-Ti Pureblood is out, the unreasonably powerful MPMM Yuan-Ti is unfortunately legal. Is poison damage common? I've been playing for about a decade now and I can't think of poison damage being dealt to the party outside of fighting Yuan-Ti, a Lich, or a Green Dragon. Your Circle of the Land comment is also outdated, the feature reads; "You are immune to the Poisoned condition, and you have Resistance to a damage type associated with your current land choice..." there is nothing protecting you from disease. Forget the Multiclass, just take Fighting Initiate: Blind Fighting.
Great points overall. I am discussing the VGM Yuan-ti Pureblood which, to me, is the prime example of why the unbalanced races are out. I do believe the MPMM version is at least an improvement, but compared with their peers it’s still a massively frontloaded race. As it stands, my table are still playing the legacy races, so I believe they are worth discussing for those who wish to try them out. Poison damage is common in the sense that it appears a lot not just from bosses, but also from traps and vials, so having immunity is definitely a huge deal. Land Druid’s feature in 5e states that “you are immune to poison and disease”, so for those who are still playing 5e, this is still definitely the case. Not sure how the feature changes in the newest edition, will have to check it out as you suggested. Blind fighting feat is a great idea! I think this comes down to your level and play style. For instance, your spell slots stagnant at certain levels, so in a oneshor getting a fighter dip gives you a lot with basically no downsides (armor, fighting style, con save). On the other hand, a long campaign penalizes multiclassing in level progression, so you may want to take a feat. Overall, great insight, and thanks for the comment!
Did you do your research on Mozart mister? 🤔
Not really no
Great build. I’ve been wanting to try a max damage build for some time, and the dragonborn damage immunity is something I didn’t account for. Will definitely try it out in my next campaign.
Glad to hear that and have fun in your next campaign!
The new paladin from 2024 PHB can learn Unarmed Fighting and use smites with it
Fascinating. Is there synergy with Monk’s unarmed fighting per this new rule?
@FlameBladeDruid yes totally, creating Z Warriors is easier now
@@gabrielmarques5257amazing, time to build Goku now

Did you know Mozart was into scat play? Look it up if you don’t believe me but if I’m cursed with this knowledge so are you

Hey guys! Apology for the low resolution in the game, as I forgot to set the video display to ultra-high quality. Won’t happen again.
Great video. Only comment is that Nystul's Magic Aura can only be cast on a willing creature or object, and therefor couldn't be used on an enemy to combo with the clerics CD
I see. That’s a shame but thanks for the information.
overall great video, i like the suggestions, overall pretty good and i do like you suggesting artificer, it is a very underrated class
It is underrated indeed, a strong class overall and such a peculiar spell slot progression which is great for multiclassing.
I'm always on the fence if wizard or sorcerer is stronger. Talk to me one week I'll say one and the next week I'll say the other. They surely belong in S and A tier.
Absolutely. Perhaps I just started another bg3 run and met Gale again, which steers my pick to favor Wizard, but both are more than capable of being top choices in any campaign.
(Also please forgive my pronunciation of Zealot, if you unlock your Rage hearing that you know what class to play next.)
Do you like the new Barbarian?
Love the video, it's a simple edit but it looks really clean. 😎 I'd love to hear more about the echo knight fighter as it sounds really cool.
@@MadUncle9 Glad that you enjoyed the edit my friend. I found myself more drawn to slow and simple presentations while watching dnd videos on RUclips, and they inspired me to create this format. Echo Knight is a fantastic pick. This subclass has a great blend of power and flavor, top of all unique and distinguishable among the fighter subclasses. I’ll definitely study the subclass and share my ideas on it in the near future.
Let me know which subclass you would like me to talk about next!

Happy to have you!
Hey guys! Pardon for the re-upload, as my video got a copyright strike from RUclips. It sucks because this was my most liked video so far (6 was not much but I'm very grateful for the support). I will also re-upload my Cloudkill video for the same reason. Anyway, please enjoy!
what made it get struck?
@@JackyDeathBergIt’s the music that got a copyright strike, a shame but lessen learnt
@@FlameBladeDruid oof, understandable, you should check the music before you use it
@@JackyDeathBerg That is good advice. I think I’ll lean toward the music of nature from now
good video, but compression is messing up ur resolution badly, i dunno how to fix that so id recommend you look into it about druids and armor, i would like to point you to the "Survival Mantle" from VGM, it doesnt count as metal, and dragon scale doesnt count as metal either if thats relevant, and i feel like not mentioning moon druid is a bit criminal with how good it is not well versed in sorcerer wont mention it bard good would recommend you to check out order of scribes i would like to mention, warlocks are not full casters but they are also not half casters, they have pact magic which puts them in a separate thing from everyone else
Great insight my friend. You actually encouraged me to look into Order of Scribes Wizard and it is an amazing subclass, which allows me to make a video dedicated to its synergy with Tempest Cleric to max out damage. Cheers!
summon greater demon is decent but the material component is bit problematic if ur dm forces you to actually acquire instead of allow you to bypass it with a focus or a pouch i would have recommended you to go over all the subclasses but this is about optimizing pact magic and not about covering the warlock class in depth so there really was no need for that, good call with that one overall a great video, great job, not much critique to give on this one
Thank again. Summon Greater Demon is a unique spell when it comes to component, since it is consumed if you are forming the protection circle. Otherwise, it is a really fun spell to optimize, especially since it takes advantage of losing concentration. This and Mordenkainen's Faithful Hound will be on my future video list for sure.
@@johnsamson9864 thats a good point! i misread the spell and yeah you only need the component for the circle only problem is you might need to take care of the demon after the fight, though thats unlikely to be too difficult
i honestly agree with all of these, great video genuinely informative now for some constructive critique as usual the backgrounds were kind of static though they did their job, id recommend you look at how other dnd channels do their backgrounds, see what you like from them and make something thats unique to you, though that does take a lot of editing skill so it will come with time as you experiment honestly thats about it, good video (as a wizard supremacist i do want to say, the wizard spell list is so incredibly large and versatile that it singlehandedly makes them the best spellcaster, subclasses included, and an unrelated question, what makes you like druid? i never played as one and i felt like asking what makes them your favorite class?)
Thanks for always providing constructive comments, it really helps my creative process. I do agree that the background is static, and I’ll try a few more variations to visualize the retro-vintage vibe I’m going for. (And Wizard rules!) As for Druid, the class draws me by rewarding research and planning, and the features are genuinely so much fun. Lemme make a video about it after the Warlock Pact Magic one!
@@johnsamson9864 watching it rn! edit: thanks btw and no problem
hey! im happy to see you made this video, it goes into much more depth regarding fireball which is always nice, a few things that i want to recommend you to try you should try placing screenshots of the abilities and spells you showcase and speak about as it goes, it doesnt need to be present for too long but having a screenshot showing the entire ability/spell/item does help you should explain what you will go over at the start of the video in order of what you will be speaking about, you might also want to try and use chapters in the video, you know how some videos have chapters appear on the video progress bar, yeah that, i would overall recommend just making it to be the different rough topics you discuss, like for example feat synergies spell comparison class synergy race synergy etc etc and you might also want to dabble in youtube shorts in order to grow more rapidly, but that would mean concentrating a lot of information into a short amount of time but they need to be short snappy and well written to really get going in the algorithm
Happy to see you again too! And thanks for your previous suggestions which helps a lot. Again, a series of good ideas and I'll totally try it out. I'm planning to talk about either Cloudkill or Erupting Earth next, so it'll be nice to give a more structured presentation a go. Shorts is indeed a more favourable format to gain more views, right now I'm mostly doing this for fun, so definitely going to try a compressed explanation video or a fun topic too. Let me know what you'll like to hear too my friend.
@@FlameBladeDruid great to hear, surprisingly enough i havent heard abuot erupting earth, ever, same with synaptic static! it was good to know what they did etc yeah shorts are nice, and i think you might want to try making videos going in depth about some of the more versatile cantrips in the game, a video for each, some might be shorter/longer depending on which one etc etc
i enjoyed the calm vibe of the video but you didnt actually optimize anything, you just explained good uses and what it is capable of doing, which is nice and all but regardless, i would have enjoyed a few more detailed methods on optimizing the fireball itself
Appreciate the constructive critique. I was planning to reserve certain optimization tips in class/subclass/race optimization videos to illustrate their synergy with Fireball, but it makes more sense to consolidate them into a video focusing on the spell itself. Regardless, thanks for the support.
