I know in the first game, it would've taken 2 and a half maps to do a 1:1 scale of Cedar Point

The volume is again not fixed in this one, but I found the culprit... OBS is defaulting to my webcam for audio and not my headset.

I was messing with my mic settings and man does my voice sound a lot different. I think I want to go back to the way before. Let me know what you think.

Watchmaker was a name created by a "What Doctor Who Name You Would Have" quiz many years ago. I have used it in character names many times including SWTOR and Dungeons and Dragons.

If you have multiple genders/characters i believe under the else you do another conditional branch $player.gender==1 (i believe girl is one) as the genders works the same way as gym badges where 0 is the first 1 is the second and so forth

I been trying to make my own fan game of Pokémon I obviously know there a many resources on creating something like this but RUclips only has one creator that did a tutorial on making one of these games why aren’t creators making more tutorials? why are people gatekeeping this knowledge 😅

by the look of it, i imagine the maps will blend seamlessly when you transition from Pallet to Route 1. which kinda takes me back to the days of playing PokeMMO long time ago

I don't know if you noticed yet, but there is a typo in the girl's dialogue when she's at the town's exit. She says "siad" instead of "said".

If you could find a way to pull the assets from the gba roms kind of like how decomps work, would you consider releasing this without the assets bundled?

RUclips also recommended ME this video. I haven't looked at RPG Maker stuff in years, but this made me kinda wanna hop back into it. I used to dabble with XP/VX/MZ and like to come back to it every so often as a creative outlet. Super interesting stuff here, thanks for the inspiration. :)

It turns out that this gets weird if your maps are connected to each other, I don't recommend using it for that but it has other such as places you get to by entering and exiting through an event.

I completely forgot to speed this one up...

I too leave games on in the background and forget about them.

At the start menu, before you select new game, go to the options menu and lower both volume sliders. Essentials saves the settings so that whenever you open the game in the future it won't be so loud. I typically keep mine between 5-10% for testing purposes.

Just a quick note, this will only work on items that can be flipped. Also, there seems to be a lag between my voice and the video.
