The AZ Joeheads were invited to do a vehicle and diorama display at the Brewer Brothers Model 26 AUG 2018. Our display included some Gotham, Star Wars, Star Trek and GI Joe / Cobra inspired dioramas and of course our World War 2 main piece, a recreation of the famous photo of the S.A.S. in North Africa. Also an Israeli jeep from Samson's Foxes.

This is the 12th time we have had Scott Carter grace us with his time and talents and he did not disappoint. We had a Taowan metal German SdKfz 234 Puma, a DiD German Zundapp motorcycle and sidecar combo, a Vietnam era LOACH, or Hughes OH-6 Cayuse, built from a 21st Century Littlebird, and finally a Go Truck U.S. HMMWV UAH-M1114 based on my unit's vehicle markings in Mosul, Iraq.

Great work, really amazing detail.
1 day I'll have a 1/6 scale german vehicle. Cool looking show!!!
Add a coat of fine red dust, then mist with 50/50 glycerin/water for effect.
Is the cannon a 75mm? They used it in 'Nam? 🤔
Yes, the 75mm pack or mountain howitzer was used, primarily in smaller and higher bases due to the light weight of the piece and the ammunition. With a high rate of fire and high angle it's basically as good as a mortar. My 155mm was not ready for that show and nobody has made a U.S. 105mm howitzer yet in 1/6 scale.
The 75mm has even been in service in Afghanistan by U.S. special forces and Rangers.
