Paragliding at Torrey Pines with Doug
I took out one of my favorite clients for an afternoon adventure he'd never forget. The conditions were absolutely perfect, with a constant onshore breeze providing plenty of lift, it was a great way to kick off the weekend. Torrey Pines is one of the most scenic paragliding spots in the world, with sights of the the famous Torrey Pines golf course, views of multi-million dollar mansions, and who can forget the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean.

This is my group's robot for the MAE3 robot soccer competition. So far we are the only team that has been able to score all of the soccer balls on our side of the playing field
Disturb music
I bought a tool that I have been told is to tighten or loosen the nut on top of the drawbar on abridgeport mill using a 3/8" impact. Do you know anything about this tool?
Thanks, King
Thanks for the clear demonstration.
Thanks! very helpful!
Damn , this dude slammed the living hell out that magnetic arm 😂
thanks so much!
Hello i just bough a used mill and it came with a piece i dont know what is its use. Its a metal plate of 1/2" height and several holes 11 big and 9 smaller, and some removable metal cilinders, well more like pegs than cilinders that fit in the holes. Any idea what is?
I have 2 dial indicators and cant remove the original contact point to place an extension. Im worried ill use to much force and break it. Can you help me figure it out, please?
this guy saved my whole education
To save clearing all the chips off the lathe so they don't get stuck to a magnetic base, try this simple method - ruclips.net/video/kK6uVmX97iQ/видео.html
The best way is bolt a brass rod in the tool post and run it against the work piece. Works everytime.
Tightening it after you bump it in requires spinning the chuck again to see if the chuck jaws threw it back out of center when you tightened them.. indicating is the “last” thing you do
Bumping a piece requires a rotating chuck. You can see where its off and better center said piece. Plus a 4(+) Jaw Chuck works better, more precise. But, for a Quick Non-esential job.....this works
Need to lose the music
Dial indicators are sensitive instruments and should be protected from such blows/impacts. I were taught to at least lift the pointer off the workpiece before striking it.
That’s right! I use two bearings attached to the tool post. Slowly spin material and slowly walk in the cross slide up against the material and watch the material 0 out! “ no impact needed!’
@@mafosa8519That also works great
Very clear bro I think you only makes video you don't work really good lack
Thank goodness. We got an old Bridgeport at work and having never used an end mill before I've been scratching my head trying to figure out how to remove the chuck to put in an end mill collet. Thank you for saving me from the embarrassment of having to ask 😅
For the love of God, why the background music?
Oh man it's groovy
I found out you could also tap the work piece by the far left end if it wobbles at that point since you are only centering the work where the dial touches so in theory it is only concentric at the indicated point .
Definitely needed this crash course thank you!
beautifull
As an absolute beginner, thank you!
make more simple video like this
Helped me remove my first collet! Thanks so much
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Very helpful information.
Thank you! :D
Anybody else too short for this shit... Or just me 🤣😂
Finally someone who is concise and clearly explains how to do this...(with good audio and visual) . Thank you sir.
Forgive me for any ignorance but I was under the impression that an end mill was mounted into an end mill holder which was then mounted into the collet
More videos like these please
Clearest video so far, in terms of explanation and actual quality. Thank you!
