    It's been over a year since this video, and at least 3 yrs since you got the E20, so I'm wondering how how it's holding up. Are you still happy with it? Any major issues? I'm thinking of downsizing in HP but up-sizing in reach. I know Bobcat had parts supply issues at some point so that's what I'm most concerned with as I would have to get a used unit.

    I envy the view from the skid steer! I just got my first machine ever, a Kubota L4060, and bought a stump bucket for it. It’s kind of a pain to see what I’m doing out front with that bucket on because the hood blocks out the view of where the attachment is doing the work. Much higher learning curve than using a loader bucket or grapple. Still I’m very happy that I got the stump bucket to hold me over until I can afford a mini excavator!

    How much tolerance do you have in the depth? Obviously it needs to be below the frost line. I haven't dug footings before so it's all just theory at this point. I'm guessing some simple math is used to determine the target depth (based on transit) such that the addition foundation wall is level with the existing house wall? I'm also guessing a touch deeper is better than too shallow as the concrete crew can adjust the thickness of the footing as long as it meets the min thickness? Thanks!!

    So since the quick hitch adds a bit of length between the bucket and the arm, do you notice your thumb doesn't grab at the same points anymore? I just got a geith quick hitch and i knew it would affect my thumb placement, but im wondering if I just deal with it, lengthen my thumb, or something else.

    I really want to pick up either a 2 ton or 2.6 ton machine but I’m on the fence about it. I want to add a landscaping/property maintenance side to my business with a dump trailer and a mini ex running around but I don’t know where to start. I rent these machines when I need them for trenching but never used them for anything more but looks like I could easily learn the basics.

    • @triplesticks
      @triplesticks 6 месяцев назад

      Yeah, but these little trees in particular have a 6 foot taproot if you do that, it snaps it off right at the ground level

    Good work. Tracks sound rough though.

    • @triplesticks
      @triplesticks 6 месяцев назад

      It’s the way the tracks slide over the protection plate on the top side of the roller assembly. This is because the tracks can slide under the machine, so there’s no room for a roller on the top side.
