Should have pad wrapped first, then shrink wrapped to help keep pads nice and tight. Very unprofessional and unsafe way of moving these safes. Also needs more people to help.

I have the same exact Liberty Presidential safe and just experienced terrible "SAFE" movers destroying the paint job !!! If their imaginary insurance doesn't fix it, I'M SUING !!!!

Why didn't they haul upright with those furniture lifts??? Clowns to the left of us, clowns to the right of us. Picked up a similar Browning safe from garage floor laying on its back. Lifted with home fabricated lifts similar to those in this viedo. Slipped UltraLift powerd stairclimber underneath safe, set afe onto UltraLift. Hit the UltraLift power and set the safe upright. Easy peasy with Ultraift....even up stairs, into pickup bed, onto trailer. Bada oom bada bang!!!

NEVER, NEVER...did I mention NEVER put a man below the load!!! Were they professionals, they would load the safe with the door toward the Ultralift, using offset board spacers to protect the lock, so the heavy door is toward the lift, where width allows as seen on the stairs. Door ways generally too narrow to do this..

So many bad comments with out backing/ providing a better solution. Comments like “they completely destroyed this safe”. Hahahaha… this video definitely provides a good solution to move a very heavy safe on it side with out damages.

Other than the increased weight, it's not really anchored to anything. Certainly not an installation I'd want done.

Didn’t even wrap it. Scratched the hell out of it. Horrible way of moving a safe.

We use 4×4 wood blocks for the tow plate to land on. They have long handles for the guy underneath to move every step up. They give us better clearance on steeper sloped steps. Also the tow plate never lands on the step. There's no chance at rubbing the edge of the step with smaller steps. It works great. I can send a picture if you want. Over my 7 years delivering safes I have picked up tips from other movers. On another of your videos I saw you have a wall behind you as you came inside the door. We have Teflon plastic sheets that we put under the safe to land on so it's really easy to slide once it comes over.

My floor joists might not be far enough apart for such an installation how would I go about that???

Have moved up to 5000 lb safes. Never move safe with door unlocked. Always remove spindles. Very unsafe .
