In 40 years on the job, I have never seen Trichomonads in Stool before- until today. I just assumed they were Giardia lamblia- which we haven't seen in years. But my boss pointed out my error, and I could see the differences. (Our microscopes are not very good- and we are not allowed to see anything the Doctors don't understand.)

omg im trying to find the same thing for my lab report 😭, I searched it up but different sites are saying either beta or gamma.
@@Nana-qc3sd I believe that there are strains. For example, the strain that causes urinary tract infections is beta, and most of the rest of the strains are gamma, such as those that come through fecal contamination.
