This just popped up in my feed as I was thinking to go to the library and find a book about starting your own business for kids.
Sadly, my parents were about control- their control with everything and nothing my sisters and I did was good enough. My Mom complained bitterly and constantly about not getting any help with anything. I was the "talented" child and my work had to be outstanding every time. I still overthink everything. I may win all the awards, but my sister out produces me in amount of goods in almost everything she does. Sigh. I think that I'll call her and tell her that I think that she has become an exceptional adult!❤
Rare wisdom about parenting tips on yt 💐 wish more of that
I had to fight my kids to get any help Didn't work
If they aren't brainwashed by the system and living in a ai world
Your son sounds exactly like mine! I gave up trying until he was ready to read despite the criticism and now he’s learning quickly! He also knew how to drive equipment and move cows before reading!
Definitely not all autistic individuals are good with or even like animals. My daughter cannot stand animals, and becomes abusive towards them very fast if you force the issue or animals get close enough to touch her. She tolerates dogs, barely, as long as they stay away from her and don't try to touch/sniff/play with her.
HUGS ❤
Amazing talk! We can do this 🤠
Skill lost
This woman is a gift.
Interesting! Not bad for a gal from Issaquah.
I am a machinist of 50 years. I quit school in 9th grade. I have always been a very mechanical mind . I took a machine shop class in Junior college. Wow all my math skills made sense. I am a Jack of all trades. Oh I took my GED in the Army when I was 17 . Straight B's.
You are awesome! Too funny! AI not intelligence
Ain't that the truth !
I am from germany and came around your film. What a incredible story you tell ❤
This is a big show on tv this family should be making $500.000 a episode
She is a "real" teacher, just not a "professional" and "certified" one.
Abraham Lincoln never went to law school. It is weird, all that stuff. Rarely probably people go to college with a viable route they truly desire but more commonly it’s just kids looking to do what they have to to have a decent income. College would seem to have an incentive to cater to parents who foot the bill for all this. It certainly bears looking at.
Me to algebra Tutor/ but geometry A’
Bio Major, same. Aside from my statistics and CHEM courses, I’m literally a straight A student. I still had to drop out of my Advanced Algebra courses so as not to totally wreck my semester. *Twice*. I’ve just relegated it to “last thing to do before graduation” so that as long as I pass it’ll be fine.
Upon my 3rd or so attempt at taking classes in community college I found myself struggling in a Calculus class. While other students did just fine I was severely struggling. It hit me that if I were somehow able to FORCE myself to learn Calculus it would break my brain. Now 14 years later I understand how that would have occurred. Basically I do not use the language part of my brain to do math in real life. Advanced math in the classroom is so abstract that it places a huge processing demand on the verbal part of the brain which in my case would cause the verbal parts to become so LOUD that I would not hear the rest of my brain and that would disable me. The other students truck right along because they simply don't care what the numbers are doing, they are simply acting like an AI LLM, looking at a sequence of characters in text and then correctly guessing the characters that should follow. Mainstream education just grows people into LLMs so that they can go into industry and be Input/Output devices. Yet, computers have rendered humans in that role obsolete.
Personally learning should never stop keepa you from getting alzheimers.
Exactly
Perfect timing for this video. 🎉❤🎉
Lol, yeah, I architectured out sustainable architeture for satellite center communications.
This woman makes so much sense
The product of programming everyone to be the same. None to understand or know they were purposed by intelligent design by a perfect Father that loves His creation! 🎉❤😊 It is Written!
Great channel
Temple spitting facts.
I hope they’ll listen to her❤
So true. I remember having to do a bridging course to study visual arts and being tested on maths and science. Figure!
I would love to be able to have an interview with you I swear
I agre 💯%
thorn hill school for boys in allegheny co 1910 learned farming and animal care, Montessori already did this and understood self esteem but i visited many for my internship and found it was twisted because parents just wanted obedient children and prestige, i was very disillusioned, John Holt NYC began the unschooling trend in the 80s; just love your children, make it fun

One of the few cool boomers
Glad to hear someone I respect calling out the system itself instead of the standard "kids are lazy nowadays"

I am in a pickle. Every calf of mine has a bad first experience with me. How do i give them a number in the ear without them having a bad first encounter with me?.
wow, I didnt know that.. but yeah, algebra was fine but advanced calculus and other engineering math level stuff I just was unable to get past to get a useful degree
To tell you how bad I am with mathematics, I don't know who all these guys she's talking about are. Algebra, Calculus, don't know any of them
Same. I've never gotten through an algebra class, even in high school. In college I've had three tries at a remedial class trying to get me up to the level where I could get through an algebra class and I've dropped them all three times to avoid failing even remedial math. I'm a crime analyst in a supervisor position today, a career you'd think would require an advanced understanding of statistics but I've been doing just fine. We need another thinker like Dr. Grandin to re-invent alternate methods of teaching for people who process and analyze information differently than the current system requires.
