@Frankmanu Hi, thanks for your comments and for watching. To be honest, I am not sure as it came with the bike when I purchased it. I think it's an optional accessory in the uk for around £70. However, I don't think it's worth that and think there are cheaper and better ones out there. The one I have does leak in the rain. So if you do get one, keep an eye out for that.

@lost-again I have the Suzuki 8R and I was looking because AliExpress seems to be similar and cheaper. The Akrapovic exhaust is incredible!! I do not know in the UK but in Spain it's illegal 😭 (You know how many dB has it?). And I want to get the puig Z dome. You have the 8S very pretty!

@Frankmanu Thank you very much. Without the DB killer (baffle), I think it's around 80 to 90 db. It's sort of ok.....ish in the UK although a bit of a grey area. The police occasionally take a dislike to it. I wasn't aware it is illegal in Spain. That's a shame as it does sound really nice. @stevesanelli90 Thanks for your comments. Yes a nice warm day in summer. I tried a front mud guard bracket to get the wheel shots. I also fitted the puig type screen. Very easy to fit and does seem to help a little bit with wind deflection. Got a few more review videos coming out later next month and hopefully some travel ones too. ​@@lost-again Well, it can be called a DB killer but they are installed inside the exhaust. When you go in high torque, it decreases the burning sound and makes your exhaust get more bass and powerful. The shape looks like a honeycomb.

@korazon3spinado Thanks for your comments. The original rear seat has a nylon strap on either side that you can pull out and attach a helmet to or even strap down a bag to. The cowl is a bit more basic with a small plastic hook that I suppose you could hook a small strap to and then strap your helmet to. Basically, the original seat has more functionality than the cowl. I have not used the cowl since taking it off and now simply leave the seat attached. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

@stevesanelli90 Oh yes. In the UK now, at this time of year, I have to grab any excuse to just get out and ride, especially as winter is on its way. Just to ride and follow the road, with no particular destination in mind. I now need to get some waterproofs and try riding and filming in the rain.

Many thanks for your comments. I would like to try the 800RE at some point. I am also going to try doing a moto camping video with the GSX-8S to see if this could be a mini tourer. Some videos to come out in the next month or two featuring that. Yes, Freddie Dobbs used to live about a mile away from the dealership and still visits Ipswich on his Bonneville. More videos to come, depending on the weather, although I do need to get used to riding in wet weather and seeing what the video footage looks like. Thanks for your comments, always welcome.

@stevesanelli90 Many thanks for your kind comments. I am learning as I go along, both riding and video editing. I have a few more videos planned as well as trying a bit of moto camping coming soon. Not sure about the radio voice, though, lol, but I will give it ago. Going to try and get some better sound from the exhaust whilst riding as well.

@stevesanelli90 Thanks very much for your comments. Parking rules over here in the UK seem to be forgotten about. I have, on a few occasions, had to watch out for a car door to be suddenly flung open in my direction as I am passing. Also, at night, people often park facing the oncoming traffic with their head lights on, causing some degree of blindness for several seconds to the oncoming traffic. I have a few more videos planned, hopefully before the autumn arrives here. I think in Australia you may be now looking forward to your summertime? I certainly agree with you about the GSX-8S being a fantastic bike to ride.

@@lost-againMost fortunately, we can ride all year round. I'm down south in Melbourne & there may be a couple of super miserable days, but on the whole, perfect. There is no snow, but there can be a bit of black ice. These are warning posted though. Cheers
