YS3M Solves Written Review (9.30 AO12)
I started learning ZBLL for that set as recog is relatively simple
Yea fair play, good for you
the first alg but with B' R' U' R U B instead of F R U R' U' F' is fast regripless and reliable
Yes I remember trying this at one point but I always fumbled it lol
thank you
The second cube sounds nice. Tornado v3 flagship i assume
The cube on the right is a Weilong V9, with angstrom setup. Definitely a nice cube
Cube on the right at the start of the video*
I thought it was oll prediction and I wanna learn that but the vid was still helpful lol
Haha
2nd one you can use the start of Y Perm and it's another H which is better than F imo
oh that's clever, didn't think of that
@@cube_range That's just the regular OLLCP for that case...
@@LeDuyBao-ex7fj Ik but it's funny it also gives h perm
Sir formula put in video.please
The OLL alg is in the description
Nice and simple. Good instruction. Thank you. I'll be sure to remember it.
glad to hear it! Thx
Im struggling to finger trick the last move because I end with my hand in a weird position, can someone help me?
Hm the last M move? Make sure your left hand isn't regripping, so your left thumb should start and end on the front face. Let me know if you're still struggling
Dude go slower so I can see the moves. I just learned how to solve the 3x3 and it takes me like a minute or so to do. I’m trying now to see if I understand other algorithms but you don’t show the steps.
Ah sorry about that. I'll try to go slower in future videos. I have written the algorithms in the description, you can always follow along using those.
Shit tutorial, to fast. I know you put instruction. but why video it if it is fast? useless.
for OLL 4 I use: R U R' U' R' F R S R U R' U' f' Obviously it is just sexy-sledge then cancel into f sexy f'. For the S move I push with my left index. the f' move I do with right thumb. This way it alternates really nice between left and right index fingers and has a good flow. For OLL 3 I transpose the same alg to lefty.
Wait how have I never seen this alg before. Where did you find it? Thanks for the tips I am going to give this one a try
@@cube_range About a year ago I was messing around with taking out the pair (R U R' U') and reinserting with the VHLS alg (R' F R S R U R' U' f'). After a while it solved the cube again and I realized it was an alg for OLL 4.
@@bobrockbass what a legend
actually, the inverse of your oll 4 alg is one of my favourite oll 3 alg push f into inverse sexy and push S' just flows so well
@@ClockSolver Awesome! I've seen this alg before (probably Brina Sun?) but never realized it was the inverse of my OLL 4. It flows very nicely indeed.
this video had the perfect timing lol. I literally just a few hours ago wanted a new algorithm for these OLLs
Glad to hear it haha, there are a few others I didn't show in this video. Which ones do u think you'll use?
@@cube_range Never heard of that OLL 3 alg before but it seems to flow really well. I’m still not sure about the mirror alg tho so maybe I’ll use one of the other ones you showed. Thanks again for making this video!
@@Ben_Long awesome you bet!
for oll 3, i use f U R U' R' S' R' F' R U R U' R' and R' F2 R2 U2 R' F R U2 R2 F2 R for oll 4, i use the S slice alg and R' F2 R2 U2 R' F' R U2 R2 F2 R
I did not like the F2 R2 U2 algs when I first tried them but maybe I didn't give them a fair shot. These OLL's just give me fits lol
@@cube_range even though there are many double moves, there are no overworks, it is homegrip throughout the alg, and flows quite well imo
@@ClockSolver ok I will definitely give this a shot. Thanks!
What alg do you use for OLL 4?
S move alg
@@svoda w
how can i have my solves critique? it would help me a lot🥹
I am going to make a video soon about how to submit, but won't be for a few weeks cuz I won't be able to film more stuff till then. Stay tuned tho!
On my PR single (5.71), I did a COLL with a pll skip, but I prefer to say I know the ZB haha
Lol, easy w
Congrats!
Thanks!
For the Y-perm case, you can also recognize it by the big block on the front right For the skip case, the front edge doesn't move, so AUF is also easy to predict
Both good points, thx!
Whats is the Rw alg?
r' D' r U' r' D r2 U' r' U r U r' Sry I try to put all the algs shown in the description but I forgot
@@cube_range Ty
7:51 R F R' U' L2 U L U F'
quite clever
6:10 sledge U' insert in the back
I realized this a few days after making this video, was waiting for someone to comment that haha. Idk why I didn't see that, thx
What's the second algo?
F S' R U R' U' F' U S Quite a good alg
after the U for the last case you can do the lefty Jb alg for Ja which is as fast as the RUL algs for Ja
that's what i was thinking
@@cubealgs101 that's very true I forgot that alg existed for a second 💀 definitely a good option for my system
@@cubealgs101 k4
You can also use CP recognition to narrow down the Y perm vs. the other ones, but I am bad at doing this 😶
the cp recognition is fairly simple, just the 2 matching colours at the opposite spot
@@ClockSolvertrue
Thanks for white cross 🙏
I am avraging abou 22 seconds can you review my solves if yes how can I send my solves?
Yes of course, I am going to make a video about how to submit. This will be in a few weeks tho cuz I am very busy right now
omg ron
i dont really like the first cross solution, even though i am barely sub 18 and have basically no right to argue lol my solution x2 cross-D' L' B2 U' R' F u' (leaves first pair in a really good spot) 1st pair-U R U' R' 2nd pair-R' U2 R y' U' L U L' 3rd pair-U2 R U R' F U F' 4th pair-U2 R' F R F' R U' R' U R U' R' oll-U' R U R' U R' F R F' pll-R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U F' r' F r
That is a very nice cross solution, good find!
Very nice as always, do you plan on making solve critiques on sub 30 ?
Thanks! Definitely, I would like to make critiques / improvements plans for all levels
thanks for making this ❤️
You bet!
Nice critique, the alternate cross solutions you show are really helpful. At 5:14, I think the reason why he rotated (and why I would rotate in that case), is to break up the GR pair which is connected but oriented wrong. By rotating and solving that pair, it allows for a more straightforward 4th pair, although the RUD solution for the pair that arose in your solution isn't all that bad.
Thx! I will check this out tmr
Yea that's a good point I see what you mean
One day I will dig into U ZBLL, but pulling that trigger is scary. What is your experience with ZBLL?
pretty hard to remember lol
I’ll probably learn some when I’m sub 10
@@ClockSolver true
@@RubiKubiK313 I think I said that once yet here I am 💀

Dude please teach me 41 f2L algorithm for left side slove. Pls
I might film some F2L tutorials in the future !
Nice! sub 8 soon!
Thx! That would be wild
im gonna take a nap so i can rewatch this video refreshed
Lol
at 7:51 holding it like you did with the orange front i wouldve done R' L F' L2 D2 L' D2. bit on the longer end but preserves the pair. Edit: you figured it out before me my bad.
and tbh i would probably continue with D' R' F R F' R U' R' D.
