Natchayathorn Singkhuomkhong
Why do they teach it that way then if it’s not used by native speakers 😭 I’ll keep studying & do my best to not get frustrated haha
Anytime you learn a new language you're learning the fundamentals. Consider what English sounds like when you use proper grammatical structure and clear annunciation. It's drastically different from how we speak in actual conversations, with many letters and phonemes being completely changed from their correct spellings, e.g. "cumfterbul" vs. "comfortable." If you only learn cultural language without learning its proper form you're going to have a stronger identity but lose out on a lot of the building blocks. Best practice is a mix of both.
@ thank you!
Maa 1- just call , mother Maa2- give me something to eat mom Maa3- to make agree her on our choices ❤🤣🤣🥹💯
My Thai friend confirmed HORSE
Very interesting! Whenever I see a language like this, I feel like I’ve been living on easy mode. Learning a tonal language seems impossible to me. In English, I can speak with whatever inflection I want and still make sense. Also Thai looks very pretty, like calligraphy.
Basically, as an American, asking someone’s age is viewed as you telling them they look old (most of the time)
In the US I think it’s more like 60% of people find the age question rude and the other 40% don’t mind. But since we don’t have honorifics it’s quite different when socializing & talking here 😊 We still have respect for older people (not as much as Asia) but it’s not shown through our language
Thank you for posting this!! I’m beginning to study & I was worried about how to properly write characters & get the proper tones down!!
ur voice sound 10 times softer at thai
My friend's name is Cartoon
my american friend asked my age right off the bat.
I am actually a native speaker but I don't speak my native dialect well. Does this do dialects?
If I want to say a Thai word more than two time, example, 3, 4, 5, or 6 times, etc? How many times do I have to write mai yaa mok symbol after a word? Example: ná: นะๆ นะ - If it's 3 times I wanna say this word, do I write it like this?
I thought khaaw thoot khrap/khaaw thoot na khrap is formal Thai word? I didnt know its informal. When I meet someone new In Thailand and I'm meeting them for first time, what word should I use?
did bloom just become a house?😮
Your explanation is top notch. I think I got the hang of it now, thanks!

Once you finished explaining, I understood how this actually does make sense as an idiom. Thanks for sharing! More please! (I just came across your page, today.)
Maa = Mother ❤
Different vowel. Mother sounds like the English word “May”
Here Hindi with friends Marathi at home English in studies ✨🤣 , Punjabi,Telugu, Bihari , Bangla in films n songs
Tones makes it very difficult like Mandarin n Vietnamese 😮
Sometimes consonants are preceded by vowels, so...
Can you learn to read and understand Thai. Like if you only want to be able to understand and read Thai
Sanskrit is also the origin of Sinhala which is the main language of Sri Lanka ❤️🇱🇰.. So when I watch Thai dramas I hear those similar words and Sutra. 😊

actually, if your native language is any one of the languages derived from Sanskrit or Tamil, Thai will come more intuitively
