International City Tour: Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina Explained
It’s never fair to compare one city to another. Some have things that make it unique that may not be for everyone. Cities are full of many of these nuances but to my pleasant surprise, one made me feel like I was back home in ways I didn’t expect. In today’s video, I want to tell you about the incredible city of Sarajevo located in Bosnia & Herzegovina and why it had quite literally everything I could ask for, plus more.
Representing the capital city of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sarajevo is a melting pot of different religions and cultures and at every step, it’s as clear as day to see. You may find yourself walking and be greeted with a family heading for prayer at the Gaza Husrev-beg Mosque,...

There’s sometimes the cliche that going to a specific place brings you back to a certain period of time. A timelessness of architecture, beautiful nature that still feels preserved and a true sense that if something isn’t broken, then there’s no need to fix it. In today’s video, I want to tell you about the coastal city of Kotor, Montenegro and specifically, its medieval Old Town which is not o...

#corfu #greece #visitgreece When planning my trip to Greece, there were a few places that were recommended by many. A place that offers the beauty of so many greek islands, but minus the meme like number of tourists. An...
International City Tours: Athens, Greece Explained

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect upon arriving in Athens. After a few months exploring most of South East Asia, I was eager to once again, experience a city full of nuances that could either make you fall in love at first sight, or perhaps give just the opposite feeling. Athens is the birthplace of modern democracy, the home of the Greek Freak Giannis Anteokounmpo and quite frankly,...

New York City Neighborhood Tour: Bushwick, Brooklyn Explained
Yeah, it's an area that is more difficult to gentrify because we own our homes here. Renters are long term and it's a community.
@@LisaLife3160 interesting perspective thanks for sharing!
They've got food here let me tell you it's good.
I believe it!
I’m so surprised by the is. I lived in nyc / bk for decade 02-12, but always thought Canarsie was so down and out. I took train from Clinton hill out there for job interview once and it was FOREVER!!
Thanks for this comment! A lot of NY/BK has changed a lot in the past few years it even surprises me!
@@IQTrip I’m coming back inside next few years! Cals WHACKED!!! NYC now and FOREVER! ❤️
Lincoln Terrace Park is not in Brownsville. You're not even where the friendly people are. You gotta do it over again. You didn’t even show us...😢
Thanks for the feedback!
You gotta stay around Mother Gaston and Belmont. ❤
Thanks for the feedback!
Memories of my days in canarsie great job proto the neighborhood drastically has changed from our growing up days 😀
Hi John! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I lived at 42 Rockaway Ave. we moved out in the early 1960s. We lived with our grandparents. 2 apartments 2nd floor and a barbershop on the first floor. My grandfather found our lovely tenant stabbed to death in the barbershop he ran out of the storefront in the front of the first floor. He had a studio apartment in the back of the barbershop. His barbershop was primarily for black men. It was a gathering place for a community of older black men. My parents left me there for the barber, Ernie and his friends to babysit me. Back then I had very blond, straight hair usually in high pigtails. I really stood out. I remember walking up to Broadway to buy penny candy with any one of these black gentlemen. And I mean genuinely gentlemen. I was never allowed to call them by their first name. Always Mister and if I forgot their last name I’d call them Pop. Even my redneck dad from Arkansas trusted them. I was heartbroken when it ended. We moved an upper middle class neighborhood Rockville Centre. My grandparents sold the house and followed us to Rockville Centre. That is the whole story.
My grandfather found him stabbed to death. We moved to Rockville Centre. The neighborhood really changed back then
@@IQTrip I edited my original post to include the whole story. I really lined your video & thanks for acknowledging it.
Best experience
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Is there always so little foot traffic?
Hi there! This was filmed a few years on a weekday so chances are there’s more foot traffic nowadays.

How many stations in Bushwick are on the L line?
Hey there! The L runs through Williamsburg, east Williamsburg and bushwick so I’d say about 6-7 stops runs through the neighborhood. Hope this helps!
My formative years were spent in East New York Brooklyn. Ultimately we moved to East Williamsburg Brooklyn.
Thanks for sharing Juan! Tons of character in both neighborhoods so I’m sure you learned a lot!
Love from Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🙏🙏❤❤❤
❤️
There's like 3 Liquor stores in a tiny area. The two on Lefferts and JFK. Lived here forever and there's nothing else outside Dani's lol
That’s true but you’ve also got the movie theater and Austin’s ale house right down the block from Dani’s too!
Starbucks is selling poison, don't support them. Stick with Dunkin. Starbucks also got sued for having those frozen sandwiches' using tube made meat substance.
👍🏽
Bravo to your Mom! She’s a savvy lady!

Grew up here from 1957-1974. It was just developing when I moved in - lots, fields, swamps -fun,fun,fun. Graduated Canarsie HS 1968, then to Queens College and NYU Dentistry. Left Brooklyn for the Navy 1975. Loved growing up here, but the way it is now, I'd never return. One bright light- Sebago Canoe Club 13th and Paerdegat. Trained many hours for races on Paerdegat Basin.
Thanks for sharing!

Me too! The area has changed a lot in the past few years but I’m definitely a fan!
I just came from here about a month ago and let me say this was the most beautiful city I have ever been to. Coming as a mission trip to teach Albanian kids baseball and experience this city's natural beauty was amazing
That’s amazing to hear! I loved my time in Tirana as well and considering what the country as a whole went through not long ago, it’s great to see what it’s turned to today!

I'm on my way.
Awesome enjoy!
So proud of my birth home of BedSty. I was born in 66, lived on Patchen & Lexington. My Mom moved us to Rockaway & Macdougal, just on the line of Brownsville. Joined the Army in 85. Served 29 years, retired in 2014. Last visit home in 2006, felt like the ghost of hoods past. I pray to return one day to pay tribute to the street corner I claimed, which became my launching pad, and not my gravesight. Now live in San Antonio enjoying the best life. Thank You BedSty for being my beginning. I will represent you well no matter where I live!!! ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing!

I am Bosnia so it’s fun to see someone actually posting about Bosnia and I’m also Muslim so all the mosques make me feel reallly at home😊
So glad you enjoyed the video! I loved my time there so I hope to visit again soon!
No it's not. Try working there and use public transportation you will fly back to ur country in a matter of days
That’s a fair opinion. I did work from there (work remotely online) and took public transit a few times during my stay and thought it was more than sufficient for me (from New York) but everyone is different at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Thank you❣You're welcome to come back anytime.
Thank you!! Loved my time here so hope to come back soon!
This might be the most 4K video I've ever seen. Absolutely wonderful quality. What camera did you use if I may ask? It certainly looks EXPENSIVE.
That is really kind thank you! I used my iPhone 12 for this video since lugging anything bigger isn’t super convenient at times for me. Thanks for the kind words!
Bushwick and all of brooklyn is nothing more but a HELL HOLE. Thank God i moved the f*ck out for good, forever!

Love Bushwick used to be bad as hell back in the day
