So I decided to change the heater matrix in my 300tdi defender, it was a fairly straightforward job to do, and it has made big difference to the temperature of the cab. I’m not a mechanic so please keep comments respectful.
What exhaust is this? And does the straight pipe get tiring lol

Cant honestly say it is worth the effort. They have always been crap. Better stick in a diesel heater?
Perhaps you need to check the rest of your cooling system isn’t clogged, or that the seals on the matrix aren’t knackerd.
