Dapol N Gauge HST's at speed

Don't often see videos of model railways emulating the real thing and going fast, so here is one of two Dapol N Gauge models of the HST/Intercity 125 doing just that.

Lacking the space for a permanent layout I use KATO Unitrack to throw together a fairly large temporary floor layout every now and then instead. This video shows the double crossover track being used by a KATO Eurostar the freight train is a Graham Farish Class 60.
0:56 hst!
Nah the 200kph train goes faster than any train in passenger service in my country ( they only go 160kph )
i like trains
No such thing as " scale speed" people need to stop listening to sudo science
That was cool af

Nice speakers
Lovely🎉❤❤❤
Dude it feels so real🤤🤤🤤
your video is super cool my friend ❤❤❤greetings of good health and success always🥰🥰🥰🔥🔥
Noclip
Lovely trains you have there
الله يرحمك يا ابه .. اشترى لي قطار من لندن . على الكهرباء يشتغل . الحمد لله .
What am I watching
meanwhile me running a 20 year old metro cammel and a class 45 at the equivilant of like 150 mph thinking it looks realistic
we men are simple creatures 😂
did some math, 300kmh in a presumably 1:30 scale would be around 10kmh IRL
choo choo
North America : "The last samples here are purely theoretical."
Great trains here too
What scale is this?
I think this is N gauge
Oh I do N scale too
Playing this at 2X speed is their actual speed.😂
It's "km/h" and not "kph"
it's the same thing
@@slav4335 No, it's not the same thing. Using "kph" is wrong
What's the actual speed of that last train going at 300kmh? I'm guessing more than 10kmh?
Cool speeds.
Very very nice vid !
I wouldn’t fancy getting in front of any of those. You actually think it’s full sized trains. Brilliant representation.

The type of content I pay my internet bills for
now imagine how fast the imaginairy plane was when you saw out a car window as a kid...
Awwtism moment
Acoustic moment
great video and beautiful models! Greetings from Italy!!
My models arre way faster
Are you dumb or?
I do like N scales a lot
That’s an impressive collection of trains!
those who are thinking its CGI
I’m sorry to say that as a railway worker that is nothing like the real thing, yes I know it’s only a model set up.
All British trains
the sounds are so satisfying
This guy is living my childhood dream
The class 43 locos with different front engine colour designs has to be a crime
When you run them at scale speed, do you use a scaled down hour of time...? Or is an hour still an hour regardless of the model scale
Add some scaled background and it'll look super real
no shinkansen? That's the best train out there
Cant imagine the little passengers suddenly slamming into the windows going around the curve and the train appearing again in the background. Surprisingly it hadn’t left the tracks.
0:57 HST “stepford express”
It wasn’t a necessary video…but I needed to watch it 😊
I am disappointed that Thomas wasn’t there
"scale speed" *proceeds to mention neither the scale or the actual speed*
