Tires were two days old at this point. I was only able to run the one session due to my rear rotors cracking - there's some kind of issue with the AP kit atm that I'm try to resolve with the manufacturer on this platform. Rebound and compression are largely up to your personal preference; this works pretty well for me given how smooth this pavement is and how new it is. I like to try between +3 to +4 rebound on freshly repaved surfaces. The rougher it gets the less this works. I find with the Goodyears is that they have do have peak grip and fall off, but the fall off is not nearly as substantial as Cup2s, they're far more consistent. Cup2s I get one day of use out of them and then the 2nd day I'm understeering and sliding around everywhere.

@@redpriest26 Thanks for the response and details but you make me nervous now! I'm running AP/Endless from the get go, now I have something else to watch for. Just did track inspection for an upcoming PCA event at ORP and after ~2400 track kms flipped the pads for even wear.

FWIW that lap (if it's the one I'm thinking of) was done on Hoosier road-legal slicks. There's merit to running on actual road tires IMO :).

@@TheThiuser Cage is pretty far back in the car and I'd have to use some sort of extension to move the camera forward so I'd see more of the track. Lapole allows for better stability and closer view. Only car it won't work in is a convertible with the top down

Yeah, the Goodyear Supercar 3R is a great tire. I love running with it whenever possible. With the Porsches, the size of the stock OEM wheels are problematic, but there are more 992 sizes incoming from Nankang. I actually like them. 12-13 heat cycles if you rotate them well. They are consistent. They do have a falloff of about a second per lap over 1:5x lap pace from fresh to old

Honestly you might be right, it was intentional on my part but probably not the fastest way through here.

Supercar 3R, Yokohama A052, Bridgestone RE71RS are the fastest; Nankang CRS is a good tire too.

It falls off a little bit. It's not horrible though, it has the best characteristics of the three normal tires you can get

One of the exhaust valves failed open a few days ago. It's more annoying than anything; since I'm on like day 6 of a 9 day track marathon I just have to live with it before I get back home. There's no impact on performance and engine health remains okay.

@@redpriest26 Was that mainly from tires being too hot? 95 degrees outside..curious as to how many laps you ran before tires starting getting greasy?

​@@iamawesome6462the tires were pretty old but it wasnt too hot yet; when they're at 210+ degrees they fall off but it's predictable and controllable. I find the sweet spot to be around 150-160

@@cxxxislow car feels pretty amazing. I thought maybe after the 2nd dry session they were falling off, but at the end of the day on my 4th session on them I was able to set this time. 3 seconds faster than Goodyears.

@@cxxxislow also I drove to and from the track in pouring rain, lol. The downforce is a cheat code against hydroplaning.

Esc/dsc settings are listed but it's one of the least aggressive settings

27psi hot on the fronts, 29psi hot on the rears; it seems low but that's what Porsche wants! I've run Pirelli, Cup2, and Goodyears all at this pressure with good results. Goodyears are the best tire of the three with more consistency and more life. It's funny how it's also the cheapest of the three. Trying Cup2R this weekend.

I use an AIM Solo 2 DL for primary data with a GoPro Hero 12 mounted on a Lapole; Garmin Catalyst for backup and additional analysis.

@@kos137So I use RaceRender 3 and custom gauges that I made (somewhat imperfectly) from photos of them in my car with a little bit of amateur photoshopping. A lot of the functionality comes for free from RaceRender itself
