Totally relate to you! I read it when I was 15 and I was so struck by how much I resonated with it and how it changed my perspective on life as a young girl. It is still a fave of mine 8 years later. ❤

My problem with this book is that I wanted to know more about all the characters ( Ruana, Len, Ruth) either that or the author gave us at the begining story for these support characters but I felt like she didn't continue to develop them fully, the same with Mr.Harvey it would have been cool to know more about him. Other thing I didn't like was the thing that happens nearly at the end between Susie and Ruth. But that just my opinion, I liked the movie better.

Have you ever read the Grapes of Wrath?? If you think that was depressing you would cry reading Grapes LOL

Yes! I'm so glad you reviewed Bird Box. It's one of my favourite books of all time and definitely my favourite horror book. My imagination just ran wild. I can't wait for Josh Malerman's next book to come out.

Virginia Woolf is one of my favourites, but I do appreciate that her writing isn't for everyone. I think you almost have to be a bit patient to like her books...
