Casual double track, but it's BC and it just rained...

It was not a beautiful day for a ride however the ride was still beautiful.
This is definitely a more casual trail than the areas I normally ride. Some great sightseeing on this one! Chase was still riding the Triumph he was demo-ing and absolutely loved it!
Side note: Anyone else ramble to themselves constantly while riding? 'Cause I sure do. Decided to leave some of it in the video this time.

What started as a beautiful ride with a view, turned in to a struggle on the wet logs when we took a wrong turn off the main road. Beautiful, rocky, technical, and slow is every descriptive word needed to describe this ride... Definitely need to practice on this stuff more because it was such a blast! Took my buddies up to try and get to a view spot up on the ridge. Ended up almost stuck in the forest fire ashes. What an odd surface to ride on. I WOULD NEVER RIDE ON AN MTB TRAIL THAT IS STILL IN USE. This trail has been falling apart for a long time and is no longer an active MTB trail. Turns out that's lucky for us dirtbike riders as the old trails make amazingly fun tracks though the woods. Rode up the ridge to check out the fire zone from summer 2023 above West kelowna. Was greeted by some absolutely amazing sights. Crazy how so much devastation can give way to a lush new landscape in only a year. Got some fun hill climbs in there too. Accompanied by my little bro riding a 2022 Honda CRF250RX (four stroke). I am riding my 2023 Sherco SE300 Factory (two stroke).
