Only Lauren Faust left mlp after season 2, the rest of the original writing crew left after season 5. Seasons 6-9 were written by newer writers but weren’t too bad honestly.

Yeah, in my own opinion: don't listen entirely to what the dude here says, sure it is pointless to engage in a heated debate over fictional characters, but in doing so you also learn things about the characters and their universes/series. As long as the debate doesn't scale to ridiculous, toxic behaviors, it is fun to debate and powerscale fiction, it is ok to get salty at deathbattle, as long as you respect the crew and persons behind it, and each fandom represent of those series, and lastly, I do like to listen to those videos debunks of one deathbattle, it is interesting to see and learn about topics that didn't make it in the episode. So yeah, take whatever thing the dude says in the video with a pinch of salt; good and honest advices, but that does not cover the entire thing.

The finale is probably gonna be Galactus vs. Unicron. There's been plenty of teases for it (specifically in the one newspaper from Gojo vs. Makima), and plus both Silver Surfer and Megatron appeared earlier this season, and both are famously heralds for Galactus and Unicron respectively (granted, it's technically Galvatron, but that's just Megatron with an upgrade). It's certainly finale material.

I want them to use Bugs Bunny in the finale. I have absolutely no idea who he would go against (Someone else with toonforce, but who?) but I think a toonforce vs toonforce fight would make for a pretty wild finale. Wait have they already done that? EDIT: FML I forgot about the dogs.

don't get at all why the laughing would be out of character for Makima. it clearly sounded more like a mixture of amusement and relief, than any kind of craziness, especially with the power high we know devils like her get from both fear and blood. she's never been particularly emotionless, just guarded and calculated. it's the exact same reaction she has in chapter 82 after murdering Power and seeing Denji bluescreen, openly laughing in genuine sadistic glee, so calling it OOC feels silly to me also yeah Gojo accidentally killing himself via the contract is still a funny wincon, but as they go over in the analysis, the damage transferred away from Makima is proportionate to the attack she is hit by. If you write her in the Death Note she'll get a heart attack and transfer 1 heart attack to someone else. If you blow her up with something like Reversal Red in a huge explosion, the transferred damage is gonna kill wayyyy more than one person. this is why the verdict says Unlimited Void is relevant, as it is the one thing in Gojo's own arsenal that he is completely immune to, so it can safely burn through all of those lives with no risk. All of this still makes it very unlikely that Gojo hits himself, but unless he only kills her with chip damage, it's a far better chance than 1 in 2.1 million.

23:32 I kinda see why you’d think that, but I view it this way: Makima hadn’t landed a single hit on Gojo until the “Bang”. In CSM, it is canon that devils grow more powerful the more they are feared. In that moment, Gojo feared Makima because she broke through Infinity, multiple times no less, making her stronger. I viewed her laughing as her own catharsis, as well as getting a “power high”, so to speak.

While I don't agree with the results at all, I cannot deny that the episode was godlike and had me losing my mind over scenes like Golden Frieza transformation and Megatron's antimatter

Watching the story boards they put out this fight could’ve been so much longer like this fight was already one of the longest.. add in the scenes they didn’t cut out it could’ve been like a 6+ minute fight

As a Transformers fan, this episode was sooooooo good, and definitly the best out of the 3 so far. Also lets go Gojo vs Makima is my second most wanted

Power scaling is technically objective (if the feats and power level of the character is consistent. Or different versions or forms are used specifically with their own feats and power level) but yeah, the results of said death battle (bill cipher vs discord) are correct. Objectively speaking

As a fan of both games and characters I love this fight

From what I've heard, a _lot_ of people have asked for Frieza vs. Megatron, so anything else is news to me. Didn't know about Nemesis (in terms of Frieza vs. Megatron I mean), but I've definitely heard a lot of support over it over the years.

As an inFamous fan, this is actually a contender for my favorite lol. And no, I wouldn't say inFamous is only held up by Death Battle fans, some of us have been asking for another game for years (and I already got into it way after those games came out lol, about to start Second Son)

This is my favorite fight out of all of this season, Infamous is my childhood and im glad that they made them relevant even a little

i think Megatron vs Frieza is because they are both evil despotic tyrants from alien planets. as for power, Frieza can easily and lazily destroy a planet while in one of his weaker forms. Megatron doesn't have that kind of power, but he could survive it. guess it'll come down to what's stronger: Frieza's power or Megatron's durability.

Bill vs Discord might be the best of the season so far, but Chosen Undead vs Dragonborn will always my favorite episode.
