      Hello and Thanks so much! I’m glad you like the harvests and I appreciate you watching. So far what I’ve realized with beets is it’s about timing. In my u expert opinion, they hate the heat so plant them early. I also planted them directly in compost. That may have helped.

      Thanks a lot. Usually the first few harvests are decently sized like these and they get smaller as the season goes forward so don’t get too down. I think it’s the heat that we experience here but I could be wrong. Thanks for watching and subscribing. Good luck.

    I had palpitations here and there. At 62 I had two heart attacks. I had a congenital heart arithyma problem ( (SVT) that went unnoticed. I had outpatient surgery that corrected it. My Dad also has an issue with the rhythm but it's not what I had...make them send you to a heart rhythm specialist. Beets may strengthen the heart but it won't put the rhythm in sync.

      Though I thought they would be, they weren’t.

  • @DevaJones03
    @DevaJones03 3 месяца назад

    If okra is woody it doesn't matter how long you boil it its not edible unless you consider chewing tree limbs edible. so using size isn't always the best indicator because long horn okra can be big and not fibrous. The better way to tell is bending the tip. If it bends easily or breaks its tender if it doesn't bend leave it on there for seeds. Keep in mind when you have a platform you will have new gardeners watching you so accurate info very important to their success. I'm saying this out of love not malice.

    Hi. Just found your channel. That's a great beetroot harvest! How long do they keep in the box? I struggle to grow beetroot just because the slugs usually win (hubby and I live in the UK so slugs are our constant companions 🤣). When we do have a harvest, we never store them. We eat them fresh harvesting right through the growing season and if we have a glut (rarely) we make beetroot relish. YUM! I look forward to seeing more of your garden.
