The e2 steam locomotives remains me of my ant she got me in trains and thomas the train. So RIP thomas and brother and sister we will miss the e2 class steam locomotives.

These engines were the worst type of locos the LBSC had.

Fact: people like fluid welcome and all that are wrong 🤣why? because they were not built for that. in all honesty, they were mediocre, and they should put them in a museum. and also, there were only ten. if they got a taller / longer batch than they would be fine. they were made for going short distance. so, yes they were okay. otherwise they would not make it to the 60's. they were good enough for they're job. Rip all e2 :( 😭😭

It's always a feel-good thought for me to think that one of these engines was saved, it was repaired and all it's faults fixed, then taken to a private island called Sodor, where it can live out the rest of it's life doing the one it was meant to do: be a really useful engine. (I was raised on Thomas, and now I am going to cry)

If they were to make a replica, it should be on static display at a heritage railway or museum and they could paint it blue. Maybe even do events with a face on it and call it Thomas Days, where you could meet Thomas. People could take a picture with Thomas and especially if they're kids, climb all over "him". People sometimes say they looked good, but that's all they really had.

E2 is ugly I get it it's worst OK, it's worst But that doesn't mean we shouldn't like it Doesn't mean your son/daughter had bad grades that means you had to kick him out of the house no you don't do it cause you love them, means e2 is worst and ugly but it's still loved so before I got so many hater repliers I wanna tell you. We love e2 yeah I know we love ugly and worst things but what, you had nothing to do, we love worst and ugly things I get it but we still love it

When I was a little girl I loved Thomas the tank engine.

Sorry to say bud, but the E2s were absolute crappy machines. The bunkers were too small, they consumed way too much water at any rate of time, rode roughly with passenger trains, unpowered, and had horrible brakes. The only reason anybody likes the E2s now is because Thomas in based on a E2. It’s just like the Delorean from Back To The Future, a crappy machine idolized by popular culture.
