Just got one of these lil beater for 16usd brand new...like the dial and feel the bezel sucks I wish it was a little bigger like 42mm.... the case is not 43mm... It's more like 38or39mm

Nice review! I do like a good chronograph, but I really don't like the one second tick chronograph hand. Not sure why but it is not my style. I like the mechaquartz chronographs.

I love chronographs, I think they are my favorite analog style of watches. After trying a silicone strap with my Casio marlins I can say that they really are comfortable. Thanks for the tutorial on how to reset the chronograph: I had to do the same thing when I bought a Swatch Chrono NOS from 2004. Thanks for this video Chris!

This must be old stock with DX3 FIELD written on dial as ive searched and cannot find the same model with printed dial as yours... Do have the boderry Voyger NH35 which is a homage to these and is fantastic but do really fancy a DX3

Yes, the light on the F-105 is great. However, I have two pet peeves with that watch (and several other Casios with the same issue). The two things the W-71 does right, as opposed to the F-105, are: 1. The month is included in the display, which I've always preferred, and 2. The light button is on the correct side, where it should be. Having the light button on the left means most people would use their thumb to use it, it's just not logical IMO ... also the F-105 is a little on the small side IMO. Having said all this, I do have an F-105 and do like it.

What a Beautiful budget watch with such interesting features! I had a very similar one, the W - 93, if I remember correctly. Roundish case and the light button right under the dial. Unfortunately I lost it but if I find A good deal, I will rebuy it. Thank you for this video!

It's still the ultimate "expendable" watch for me. I swam laps with an F-91W and took one everywhere with me in my travels. I used it as a backup alarm and it's loud enough to wake me. And honestly, I love that little hourly chime. The menu is so simple and the buttons are so easy to push that I can change the settings in no time. Its main weakness is insect repellent. That will eat away at the resin. But for everything else, it's a brilliant little watch. If I break it, I can find a replacement one just about anywhere in the world.

I'm a big fan of this one. It has most of the features of the GWM-5610 in a non-solar/multiband model. I bought mine in Japan. I prefer it over the DW-5600E since the size is a little better on my smaller wrist, it fits a little better under shirt sleeves, the display looks crisper, I can mute the button tone, and the resin strap feels a little nicer. I got about 5 years out of the stock battery with minimal usage of the features, but I threw a new battery in it and use the hourly chime all the time.

Hey, I've watched the video and tried myself to copy the AC remote and it worked well only to turn on but not to turn off, which is ok it was for fun, regarding the mention that TVs nowdays no longer support these frequecy, that is not correct as you can loose the remote, also I've tested on various newer model tvs and it worked flawlesly.

G shocks are just amazing! The day-counter is such a cool feature! Ideal for school students who are counting down the days remaining till school ends, as my students are doing in Italy. Summer is very close! And “the graphic subtitles that do nothing are really a trademark of Casio. I used to be bothered by them, because they take up some real estate from the dial, but I’m getting used to them. Thank you for another great video!

One of my favorite small, cheap Casios! Much better feature wise and looks wise than the F - 91. More water resistance, a bit bulkier, and I just like it more, but it’s my personal opinion. It is suitable for a slim wrist like mine, although now that I’m used to wearing G shocks, it looks small. I wouldn’t wear it that much if I had a wrist like yours… Thanks a lot for this video, Chris!

Am fost deținătorul acestui model de ceas în anul 1997... dar am fost dezamăgit de rezistența acestuia la shock și la contactul cu apa... am alunecat pe taluzul unui baraj de acumulare..în cădere m am lovit la cap și cu brațul stâng de beton... mai departe am alunecat inconștient pentru câteva secunde în apă... după ce mi am revenit și am ieșit la mal acest ceas avea alarma pornită și afișajul gol.... a fost dezasamblat pentru uscare și apoi i am schimbat bateriile dar... afișajul de cifre nu a mai apărut în format întreg.... 😢🙆‍♂️

i have one of these ,in mint condition . i would use it to wind up the Restaurant owner in greece while on holiday ,many years ago ,he was a close friend ,he would watch basketball in the mornings when the Restaurant was quiet , while having a coffee . and i would switch off his tv , hahaha at least 6 times ,the look of confusion on his face , was priceless . he finally sussed me out hahaha
