Very 🆒filming and driving. 👍 The Losi Hammer Rey is a very nice looking RC. I managed to reduce the tendency to body roll by putting double rear wheels on it. The Losi Hammer Rey even looks a bit more extreme and is actually still cool to see and still to the scale. I have a video of my first test drive on my RUclips channel. Greetings Jos 👋🍀

This RC is basically their introductory car and wasnt built with being thrashed on in mind. Mine has done fine, but isnt my go to RC. Just one i'll toss in my car for a quick rip in the woods or at a park. If you want a quality car from Losi, get their bigger scales or something from the TLR line. I picked mine up for $399 and to put that into perspective i picked up my brothers old gen Traxxas Stampede 4x4 for $329 and it was a brushed edition.

Nice job, man. So I've got all the front end stuff except the arms. Having a hard time eliminating the bump steer with the stock arms. Are the alloy ones longer than the stock?

what are you running for power, I see its not stock and are you happy with it. Put about 40 packs through mine, zero issues. Winter in around the corner and time to upgrade and spend some money. Just did my last run at the dunes on Lake michigan. thanks

- Have you "even tried" the Axial BFG KM3 (R Compound)... !!??? 🤨... 🤔..... ...probably not, but you should before returning them, cuz you might find that you will like the performance of the Axial tires "better". (?) It is not just about looks, so give them about 12 sessions of use, or until they break-in !!! - Then you'll know !! ✌️ (I ❤️ my BFG's), and they "do" have their own purpose, like for on-road/black-top paths, crawling & trailing is a minimal, but once they "warm-up" in the sun, they are great on most medium-grip rocks !!! Good Luck😉

Sometimes I add a spacer to get rid of play, even if its plastic, but if your play is at a pin that might not work.

I just bought the Hammer Ray as my first RC yesterday. I’m very new and green into the world of RC. Having lots of fun with the unit but I find it very hard to control with how loose/sloppy the front end feels. I can actively see my front wheels shaking on acceleration. Will this upgrade do the trick? Also what other upgrades would you recommend for the Hammer Ray?
