Bob Paris was such an inspiration to me late 80's - 90's 5 days a week, two great work out buddies, I was cut and got tons of attention. At 63 I still make it 2 or 3 days a week, and still maintain a good body, I feel it is very important to keep physical. I still consider Bob Paris the best. And will tell anyone so. He helped me stay healthy. Thank you so much Bob Paris.

Nah, if you factor in proper diet and rest the training works. I have seen some serious gains just in the last 3 months of adapting his training methods. The only thing I am doing differently is giving myself 48 hour rest periods between training parts of the body. It's just a different way of doing things. You have to do what works best for you and your lifestyle. Still learning a lot and looking for other methods, but I have to say I am very happy with adapting his methods into my routine. Also, I think his training is misrepresented in this video. You really have to do a deep dive on Mike to understand his particular philosophy on strength training.

Mike Mentzer's training method is right, he's also right about resting after workouts. Besides, Mike was honest, Arnold wasn't, Arnold was manipulative, he would lie to his competitors so that they loose their gains eg. Sergio Oliva.

According to wiki his squat record was 297 kg, not 350. And I knew his record I remembered from the 90s, before the Internet because I used to remember these lifts. Ie that Arnold was between 5 to 10 kg below Fanco in bench (235 kg I read in an article in the 90s) and about 290 squat -this I forgot the exact number.
