@@brunodm1573 I dont recall the name, but once you're in the forest, it'll be unmissable. It's a huge boulder with several 7th grade problems. I did the "easiest" that i could find, and the safest, since i only had one pad. The other problems (visible on the left) seemed to have hard topouts, so i didnt try them.

Glad to hear you could clim in summer ! There's quite a lot of boulders yes, and the toughness of granite makes it hard to do them all within a day ;)

Thanks ! It is possible to visit in August but very early in the morning. Since we highly recommend you not to camp on the site to prevent any further restriction, that's not so easy to do. However, there is a camping located in the same village as the bouldering site. Some sectors (castellu) might get climbable in the late afternoon since they are east oriented.

Glad to hear that :) Conditions arent' so great at the moment, keep in mind that Valdu di Saltu is a forest location...two to three dry consecutives days are required to have correct conditions for climbing in winter/early spring ! Hopefully you'll get them !

Hey!Thanks for your informations, I´ll keep that in mind :) I´m pretty optimistic, luckily, there are a few other climbing spots I want to visit there on my list, like capineru and some sport climbing crags as well - so it should be possible to destroy my fingerskin finally on some real rock again. Before I forget, thnx for the topo link in the description, the Fototopo is a really good addition to the corsica bloc guidebook... Really looking forward now to visit this beautiful island!

You're welcome :). I'm not affiliated with the author of Corsica Bloc though. By the way, you can have additionnal photos for Capineru at grimpouille.free.fr/punta.htm. I suspect that the information in the Corsica Bloc topo is directly re-used from this guy's blog. Anyway, having a bit more photos for Capineru is always nice, so that you can orient yourself in the chaos that it sometimes is. Enjoy your trip in Corsica, and yes, it's beautiful (and yes, you'll destroy your skin since the granite here is super tough !)
