I love this piece, and the album! Got the album in the 1980s and still loving it. Nice to see the music here were more people can find out about it.

I have probably, on average, listened to this track once a month since I bought the album in '85. I think I know every single guitar lick, both bass lines, and every drum beat by now. AND STILL one of my favorite pieces of music in any genre.

Yeah, until 10:31 when even Marcus Miller goes, "i've been laying down this bad-ass baseline for 2/3 of this FIFTEEN MINUTE LONG track. Gotta rest!" and then proceeds to back off of it a little. Still killer, tho'.

William L. kazumi has of plenty of other solos on this album...cant always solo..this is a great song because every instrument has a simple yet specific role
