At my son's church I was surprised to see their church organ was a Hammond B3. It is like finding a fully restored '57 Chevy for sale in a used car lot. The organist lady was about 90 years old and she says "This isn't a church organ, this is a JAZZ organ"

My Dear Dad always played the cassette of Hammond Organ Hits when I was a kid ..This performance is outstanding and well played brings back memories after 45 years ..love this ❤

It's now August 2023......I'm still "addicted" to hearing this song/music of the late 60's which I first heard over the radio then.

This Organ part is famous (or infamous), in its own right, as to which member of the group had the rights to it. I think that is now a long resolved issue. But the music itself, is in fact based around Air on a G string, by J.S Bach. What Procol Harum did, was play around with it, according to Gary Brooker, creating one of the best songs ever made and recorded.

The sound of the hammond b3 with a matching leslie speaker is just outstanding!! My dear old dad could play piano and organ so well!! You really do a fantastic job as well!!! I really tried to learn how to play but I couldn't get the hang of it!!! You played that song so well!! It's rather haunting in a very good way!!!!
