I don't care what people think of Lea. I didn't start paying attention to her and Glee until about 6 months ago, about a decade after her scandal (came out during BLM.) I am not defending her actions then but I am 95% sure she is a better person now than she was then. I love the two of them, Jonathan and Lea have a special bond, and they have special chemistry on both Broadway and Glee. He has always had her back. Even though Jesse betrayed Rachel in Season 1 and me loving Finn and Rachel together because of Monchele, Jesse was a better fit for Rachel.

Why do you hate it? I'm new to musicals and they don't even have any recording of it or shows in my country so I've only read the script. Is it considered bad?
@@EmmarainePink No, it’s a personal thing. 😅 This story exists as a play and as a musical and in middle school we did the play version in our drama club (which wasn’t really age appropriate imo) and after working on it for a year we couldn’t perform it bc of covid so our teachers decided for us to work on it another year and covid still wasn’t over, we still couldn’t perform it and thus we all developed an irrational dislike for it. But don’t misunderstand me, I think it’s an incredibly interesting story with important themes that was pretty wild for the time it was written. But also, I don’t know why my teacher looked at me and though, you would be perfect to play the suicide scene or looked at my friends and asked, do you want to hurt each other in a sexual context? When we were like… fourteen/fifteen.

@@EmmarainePink I would also really recommend the Deaf West production from 2015 (on or off Broadway), done with American Sign Language and half the cast is deaf
