Ok, so this may seem weird but I'm from Brownfield, class of 99. Our director taught our drumline a cadence called Gomer in the 90's. I went searching for it and came across mention of it being co-wrote by a NB Band director. Do you happen to have any video of it being played? I'd love to see if it is the same one and find a recording to show my son who just got into percussion in 6th grade band this year in Lamesa.

Never thought I'd hear a HS marching band attempt the naval battle from Ben-Hur. A tough nut to crack even for a top symphony orchestra, but they did an amazing job.

I am a senior at Hendrickson High School, we got to see your show from the back! lol. Honestly this was one of my favorite shows out of the bands I got to see! I have never really seen you all perform before but my first impression was, wow! The hit at the beginning gave me chills and the soloist and music arrangements were cool! I wish y'all luck next time, know that music and performing is more than just scores on a paper, it is a way to emotionally connect with the audience, to share your journey, your story for the people who support you in everything you do ! You guys were ASTOUNDING!

Yes, it was a very difficult area and it continues to be. This is NB's last appearance at an Area Finals competition since the UIL went to a prelims/finals format.
