This is, believe it or not, probably my favorite scene in the entire MCU. They way they're connecting. The way Thor is listening and Chris Hemsworth really nails the "I don't know what to do, but I haven't given up" kind of optimism and Erik Selvig is trying to help him, but also asking him to leave because Jane likes him too much. And the way it was punctuated at the end because Erik is passed out and Thor has to carry him to Janes and says "We ate, we drank, we made his ancestors proud" - implying a bar fight that was never shown. I know there are bigger scenes. Cap's speeches. Falcon's "On your left" and everyone shows up to that glorious music. Thor's scene with his mom in End Game was so touching, but this one, I'd take as my overall number one. Call me crazy, or, agree.
