I would like to do something similar next season, but I do feel much of what I talked about wasn't necessarily specific to this season, so much of it will hold up in the future. My main challenge would be to find something else of value to actually talk about.

Yeah, it ended up on RUclips because I realised a 2 hour video with no editing wouldn't me very useful to many people, so I cut maybe 10mins out, but mainly it was just the time stamps. This process has given me more respect for people who actually edit videos though, its not easy, and if you don't have a good plan /good tools, it can really take a while

because there are faster runs that do 4 dps for the first portion of the dungeon then after that the "healer" would zone out and go back to healer spec these guys were the standard 1 tank 1 healer 3 dps throughout the whole thing

@@swftrr Yeah no shit, but still makes no sense to write "3 DPS" in title anyhow. As you don't clear the whole dungeon with 4 DPS anyways.

I did r1 world keys through s1-3 of Legion. BRH I held r1 world key through those 3 seasons as affly warlock. Lately through DF, I chill around doing 28s-29s with pugs for weekly, and doing 25+ keys on alts for gear to prep for next season. But that's just me. Most top people have quit since BFA or SL, DF has been insanely dead and very poorly class/spec balanced. And don't come and say that this isn't true. Check MDIs for instance from the first in Legion up untill today. All top players from then, have quit the game, or is playing casually these days.

Without a specific scenario, I would just recommend to re-watch the Rotation / Spell priority section, and the Pull Setup section of the video, that is generally my best advice to doing dps. Your also using some weird metrics, 1 million dps? where is this supposed to be at? 400K on dummies? Dummy dps is not really relevant, anyone can DPS while standing still, the difficulty is doing DPS while doing other stuff like moving or using defensvies.

That is a good idea, right now these videos are pretty low effort on my end, but I will try and do it when i get the time. I do mostly play the same build on the shadow tree every dungeon though, its primarily the general priest tree I swap around a few utility points.

Not sure exactly which part you are referring to, but even if you are in VF, you can still gain value by optimizing DP uptime if you are specced into Phantasmal Pathogen, as it makes targets of DP take 150% more dmg from Shadowy Apparitions.

The part about DP is not about using DP on the lower hp target to use SW:D, it's to delay DP on the main target until after you used the SW:D twice on the lower one, so that you don't have 2 GCDs of DP uptime running on the main target while not hitting it. Unless you will overcap insanity if you don't use it before.
