Small-Scale Meat Sector Survey Results
I raise sheep, pigs and birds. I'm looking at something like this for my animals. I'm going to seed the areas with a feed mix using deerplot seeds as a base. This really helps me "see" how it'll work
Best looking farmer ever 😂
Have you conducted any nutrient and or microbial analysis on the land as you've been doing the rotational grazing to see the in soil and ultimately the improved plant growth parameters?
We can see the impact on the fertility of the pasture after the houses make a pass -- there will be a noticeable strip of much greener, lusher growth. We did gather baseline data on soil throughout the ranch with a university researcher, but have not had a follow-up visit to determine if there are any measurable changes.
Iconic. Wonderful idea. Feasible...maybe...maybe not. Never stop trying. Truly iconic.
Can you tell me what the brand of the shade structures is?
They are a typical 'carport' type structure that we make half-height and install into a custom-built steel skid base. These are 18x40 ft, from Midland Tarp & Canopy here in BC.
Great I see if its available in Australia.
Interested in such a set-up Dr Mubashir DVM
Absolutely love the setup. How does one raise dogs to be protective instead of predatory to the chickens?
Great Pyrenees are usually chicken friendly but if they are reared from chicken guardians they won't be a problem.
Great video!
We are capped at only 1,000 in Montana. Which is better than most states sadly.
