Just found this video while searching for the information on how to draft two-headed giant in general. Could you help me out please? We play at home with some friends, have a cube and sometimes displays for drafting, but we can't wrap our heads around how to draft a two-headed giant. Like, you mentioned in the video that you need to sit opposing your teammate (that's pretty intuitive), and in some other videos it's mentioned that you share a card pool with your teammate after the draft is over. My question is when and how much communication is allowed between teammates? Obviously you discuss general stuff before the draft, but what if you need to change the strategy in-between packs? Do you let your teammate know, or are you on your own before the end of the draft? My situation is we mostly have 4 players, and the cube I have is pretty basic (just pick 2 colours and you'll probably be fine). So you could discuss that you pick green and blue cards and your teammate picks red and green cards, but then you realise that your opponents leave all the green cards (or the cube just happens to be green-heavy for some reason like bad shuffling), when is it okay to communicate with your teammate and change strategies? We are not too competitive and we'll probably home-rule these things anyway, but it would be great to know what the norm is. On the unrelated note, the video is great, and I liked your cube a lot, I'm tempted to build something like this with what I have.

Hug decks are the absolute worst. If I see Bumbleflower I just leave. I'm okay with pretty much anything else. (LD, chaos, ect)

What would you think of Kinnan bonder prodigy and Finale of devastation in the deck ?

I'm curious why a blade of selves is in? Myriad unfortunately doesn't also trigger the attack triggers.

since a lot players play a low manacurve, i honestly dont know if stealing their creatures as a base to ramp into the own stuff, is that effective. I play those cards too, but more in a removal way. For ramping in the bigger creatures i use a lot cmc4 creatues with useful abilities in case they stay on the field for a few turns. But Helm of Awakening is a pretty neat idea! Gotta try it.

You should consider the Dual Surveil lands from Karlov. No clue if they aren't in here for budget constrains cuz I only mess with them in arena.

Go ahead and recommend arena to learn the game. You don't spend money there until you get through a robust tutorial, one that is free and teaches you about the five colors. Just make sure to stress that arena is bad, besides being a good tutorial lol.

Great deck tech man! Winter has been on my radar since launch. Have you considered throwing some battles in? Even if you never play them, getting them into your GY should be easy enough to consider having them in your deck. I know u already have 7 different card types which is all you need to maximize winter, but having an 8th just in case you can't find say a planeswalker to mill might be nice. Either way, I love your deck techs! Keep up the good work!

Lmao that game was so memorable for me. I was the Jared player. That game was personally a terrible showing of that deck. Excuses aside, that was one of the most memorable ganes of edh I've had in a very long time. I was laughing out of my seat when we realized he was wiping his own board.
