Oh baby I love your intro, flawles❤🎉😢
I write responses to RFPs and am considering incorporating myself to be my own business. Any advice?
Hi, I have got CAPM certification in Canada and your videos are helpful, but I am not getting any interview responses from employers. Please suggest, my resume is fine edited.. Regards
Can you link the book that you studied of off? 😊
Sincere and meaningful guidance.great job
Thank you. It’s really helpful!
Hi! Did you take a class and did you have to memorize the PMBOK cover to cover??
terrific upload Pursuits & Projects. I smashed that thumbs up on your video. Continue to keep up the quality work.
how do you do that?
Passing the CAPM test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don't have time for your studies l'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr Willard
People keep talking about Willard all over RUclips, he must be a very awesome help
I studied for months and couldn't pass, I guess passing is a blessing
Everyone has their own way, Willard worked for me and studying didn't
I've taken the test for the 4th time and yet I failed, I really studied hard enough each time, please I need Mr Willard info😫
@Charls Williams Nice words
I wish you could share the title of your new position in your new career within transportation industry. Are you still doing project management related positions?
I have the same fears. I'm leaving a marketing coordinator (sole marketer) position at a small firm in a slow paced environment. I feel as though I am lacking in direction, and don't feel I'm providing the value I could be with a guiding hand and supportive work staff of other marketers. I was just offered a position that gives me a 20% raise as a marketing/proposal coordinator in a similar industry, working with a team of other marketers. Really it seems to be the opposite of what you experienced but leaving a good company with good people is always hard.
Thank you so much for posting this. I now have a general understanding of the proposal concept. I have a phone screening interview for a proposal specialist, so this helped me generate more questions 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Thank you so much for sharing your journey. It really helps to hear that someone else is going through the same realizations and changes.
Awesome video!
Keep them coming!
Super helpful! I’m currently a proposal writer in an engineering firm in the US and feel the same way as you did in your previous role. Can you dive into how you were able to make your transition into your current role? And what are some challenges you are facing in the role that you are in? Are you now managing a team of writers? I’ve been thinking of making an industry move as well!
Good for you! Best of luck in your ventures. Transitions during these times take so much bravery!
Thank you!! Appreciate your message :)
I’m so excited to start creating video content again - both in my career development and outside! What would you guys like to see? 👇
You mentioned your study schedule was over 3 months. I also work a normal day job, and plan to utilize my weekends primarily. Do you think 2 months to prep is too ambitious?
Hey Annabelle! 3 months + a full time job was pushing it a little for me, especially if something came up on the weekend. There's a lot of material to cover, so two months is definitely ambitious (but not impossible). Studying during the pandemic might be easier though, considering there's not much going on!
the first question i have is the obvious one - will you marry me? lol the second question i have is how does one get started as a proposal writer? what kind of training/education requirements should i be following? how did you find your industry/nice? a lot of questions but thanks a bunch
Thanks for coming up with informative content. By which stage do you prepare the proposal template? Is it ready prior to the kickoff so it could be discussed during your kickoff meeting? Also, do you personally touchbase with each content champion/bid contributor or do you have a technical bid manager who does that?
This was very helpful and informative. Short and sweet which I truly appreciate. Thank you!
Would LOVE to see a video of your timeline development process!
Awesome video! I'm a proposal writer for an IT Firm providing government agencies with services! Are you still working as a proposal lead?
Thank you!! That’s great to hear. Hope you are liking it! Yes, I am. :)
Thank you for your video explanation. Probably more details about what the exam was like could help in another video? MAIN REASON TO REACH OUT: Are the practice quizzes you suggest really reflective of the Questions on the CAPM exam? Crazy question but I must ask because it seems I have been studying the PMP exams and they may be quite different than the CAPM!!

Congratulations I am taking the exam March 2021
I really liked your presentation for your CAPM video and the style of presentation. I wish you had done a start to finish on prepping for the cert. I would have been all in. Thank you for your contribution anyway. It is encouraging to see you and so many others accomplish the one and done completion of the cert. Hold my beer, I'm going in. Lol
Does anyone know how to find the exam outline as stated in this video?
@caityvollman this blog breaks down the exam outline / learning objectives of the CAPM :) www.mobileqaengineer.com/blog/2019/7/17/breakdown-of-capm-exam
Is it a must to read PMBOK to prepare for CAPM exam? I have a dilemma . Shall I take some courses that help to prepare for it or to read PMBOK and prepare for the exam by myself ? I saw PMI chapter course as well. They help to prepare for the CAPM exam.
please make more of these videos!
Working on it! :)
You’re really direct in your videos, keep grinding, you got potential in this RUclips game. I could watch your videos all day
Thanks David! Appreciate the kind words. The plan is to continue making videos soon!
I would love to see a proposal development video!
I am seeking my certification in proposal writing. I am currently a business development administrator, but I deal a lot with RFPs and RFIs. Do you have any tips you could share on how I can get started?
You should definitely do your APMP and start looking at Bid, Proposal, and Capture coordinator/executive roles. It is a great career path and rewarding on many levels. (Bid Manager - 12 years exp) Good Luck!
Thanks for sharing your experience(It's help full fro beginners )
Can i get your number. Need more inform
Nice try :P
@@MrChampionchimp what does mean? Seeking more details
Do you still have those notes you put together I'm struggling. Can I purchase them from you
What methods are you using to study?
Danisha McNair I took the course through PMI and I been doing pocket prep but and taking the practice exams through PMI.
J Mariah When do you plan to take the CAMP? Do you think that the PMI boot camp was actually helpful? How long did it take you to complete the CAMP boot camp? I’m sorry I’m asking a million questions, but I’ve been trying to self study with a book and I’m kind of struggling. I’ve been stuck in the same spot for a while, because I realized I didn’t understand it, and I really want to hurry up and finish, so I can pass the exam by the end of this month.
Danisha McNair I don’t recommend trying to just self study the book I would take a course so you can know what type of questions will be on the exam now if you already work in project management then it may be a little easier I know I do but it’s still hard. I would download pocket prep. I would also find and download practice exams
J Mariah Well I’ve been self studying an exam prep, just to clarify, by Belinda Goodrich. I am not in PM, so yeah it’s definitely hard. I’m a hands on learner and I at least need to be engaged, so just studying by myself, for long periods is rough. I downloaded Pocket Prep, but then got rid of it, because either my exam prep book didn’t align with Pocket Prep , or Pocket Pre didn’t align with my book. At least in the sense that, the subjects Pocket Prep was testing me on, would have the same title as some sections in my book, but the book hadn’t necessarily, covered that information yet. I definitely will look into investing in the PMI Boot Camp. Thank you for your helpful response! If you have anymore tips or advice, please let me know!
Thank you, this was very helpful! :)
you're welcome! glad it helped :)
great insight!
Thanks
Thank you for sharing! I’ve been on and off with my PMP journey and i admit that work and constant house moving has been a real factor. Now I’m doing my best to get back into the flow and attempting my second try in 3 months. Do you have a study plan available to share?
Hi Could you please provide a link for the study material you used ( the chapters you mentioned)
Thank you for sharing. I have completed required hours as per the eligibility for CAPM and referred kathy schwalbe book. Whenever I attempt CAPM practice test I feel the need to practice more.I do not have access to PMbok so what is the best way to prepare for the exam.

Thank you for this detailed video. The meeting demonstration was a nice touch. How would you say the CAPM helped you in proposal writing? Do you do anything differently or more efficiently in the process since you completed your certification?
always such great detail, great video!

Can you give a percentage of the ITTO questions that came in the exam? It’s having me anxious and I’m being tempted to try and memorize them

@@christrebi7194 thank you very much
I completely agree with you that time management is the key to achieve CAPM certification. I completed first 5 chapters but then I got busy with my work and after a few days I again started preparing from the scratch. I think I need to make a deadline for myself to be able to pass this exam. Thanks for your tips though
Pls, can you write me the study materials you are using ? I want to buy one but none yet
Hey thanks for this video! I am happy to see women around my age talking about project management related topic. Where do we find the dates when the exam is available. i cannot find it anywhere. thank you
You first apply for the exam, then when you’re accepted by PMI, you select a date based on the schedule of the eligible centre in your locality. I’m 19 and I’m writing my CAPM exam just this Friday
Christodia Trebi Hey, they just announced that CAPM exam is now online
Audrey Segarra yeah I saw that too. I just took my CAPM yesterday and I was successful
@@christrebi7194 Hi, I was just wondering, where exactly did you complete your 23 contact hours in order to sit for the exam? :)
Adriana I took mines with Master of Project Academy
Hey, thanks for sharing the prep video, it really helped me a lot. @3:28 what is the microsoft program that you have been using?
I'm glad it helped! I used Microsoft One Note to note-take. Notion is another software alternative (there is a free version) with limited features.
