True, just taking walk ins you’ll build clientele. I walk in a lot, and the ones that are available I keep em like a bookmark because if I ever need a last minute cut I know they’ll squeeze me in

I’m currently in barber school and having 3 months of experience so far actually cutting hair… what would you say to someone like me who wants to master this craft but kind of getting held back from the average instructors we have?
Steal the craft from better workers, just go and do practice at a good barber shop near you and slowly but surely learn the craft there!
Go seek the education as you want even before I was in Barber school. I was paying for courses and classes and joining Academy buying mannequins to practice on. Don’t limit yourself to what they want you to learn.

I set my blades super close so that, the bald lines comes out easy and i use them with wahl guards,spread my guidelines out and use the slow speed for detailings. Absolutely love them

You dont need to charge 100 to make 1,000 a day you can make money and not feel like a pos. Why would you feel like a pos for charging 100
Yeah i feel the same when I'm doing a taper and they don't want to take any bulk or style the haircut bc they will take a shower, feels too easy for the price but they are paying anyway and coming back so i think they don't care about paying full price even when i feel like I'm rippin them off 😅
@@alvalis769 yeah I think something to remember is that clients are not paying for the hair that you take off of their head they’re paying for the hairstyle that you leave on the head once they leave the shop

You never know there situation, he could’ve asked her what I should do with my hair or something down that line so don’t always go so deep into stuff you know basically know nothing about, the cut looks fine not sure what a not boring cut looks to you
