I am a small business woodworker creating Custom home decor and furniture.
You can see all available products at www.reigadawoodworking.com
I am also new to content creation but will continue to learn and publish videos. I do this for 2 reasons…
1- I love the craft of woodworking and creating beautiful keepsakes that originally derived from this earth. It brings me a sense of accomplishment and happiness.
2- I want to inspire others to follow their dreams. At first I hesitated to do this but then asked myself “why?” I want others to realize that they don’t have to have the biggest shop or the fanciest tools. They just need heart. A drive and determination to learn, grow and be the best version of themselves.
I still learn everyday. I still screw up everyday. But I love doing this and want to share my work with whoever will receive it.
Stay positive …..stay humble …..stay inspired

I made a hardwood Nespresso Coffee pod holder out of Walnut and Hard Maple. Shaped as a coffee mug this was a fun build. The Shaper Origin was amazing at bringing my vision to life. #woodworking
XL End Grain cutting board build

In this short video, I made an extra large cutting board made from hard maple. This was a custom order measuring 18 x 24 x 2. In my opinion it came out amazing. Very solid piece weighing in at 19.6 pounds. #woodworking #woodwork #cuttingboard #smallshop #wood

I'm working on almost exactly the same cabinet. Learned a ton from this video and still rewatching parts for details. Hopefully mine comes out as nice. Thanks!
That is awesome. Thank you for watching. Send some pics when you get it done.
I just had to watch from beginning to end. That is so impressive man. I wish I had the knowledge you do. Turned out beautiful. I have never even seen some of the tools ang jigs you used. Props for sure!
Thank you very much!
@roccofilippi1418 thank you for watching.
I bought it! It is perfect
@cassandramcconnll7700 thank you. I am so happy that you love it !!!
No thank u
😂❣️
Very nicely done and unique. Love the tails and time dedication of time dedicated on each one bottle opener.
Thank you 😁
Can you please post the dimensions of each piece?
The larger pieces on this board are 3-15/16” x 1-11/16 with 1/8” walnut on each side of the long lengths. The smaller square pieces of maple are 1” x 1”. I was shooting for even numbers to make it easier but through the milling process. The sizes changed. The best way I figured was to get the width +2 of the small pieces to equal the length.
Beautiful but can it actually be used as a cutting board on veneer? Just saying
Thank you. and yes it can be used to cut on. The thin walnut strips are end grain. My fiancé uses it constantly and not one issue.
Cool build. Hope the earthquakes calm down in the future.
Came out looking really nice. Nice routing skills. Thanks for sharing
Thank you.
Very nice work. However, I thought that you perhaps should have used a 'Sanding Sealer' before pouring the epoxy to prevent any bleed into the Walnut.
Thank you. I did think about that but since the epoxy inlays we’re so shallow I wanted to get maximum bond with the epoxy and wood.
Absolutely Beautiful!!!❤️😍👏👏👏
Thank you 😁
I know the beats going to drop...
couldn’t of been more happy when my boss brought one for our shop they’re the shit !
Yes they are! So far I only ran a few test pieces through it and already convinced I made my money back. Lol.
Nice job well done. Please change camera off table saw. Every time you made a cut was very blurry and not a good picture to view. Also you provided no measurements other than thickness of pieces😮
Thank you. I did start taking my camera off the table saw after I noticed that. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again. As for the measurements…. The maple is 4” x 1-3/4” with 1/8” walnut on each side. The filler pieces are 1” x 1”
@reigadawoodworking Thank you very much for the dimensions. Have a great week and really enjoyed the video.
@@sakaj thank you. Have a great week as well
Just watched a couple of your videos and enjoyed it. have subscribe also. Enjoyed seeing your tips and good luck with getting that bandsaw. I'm out of action from doing any turning or other wood worker as I'm recovering from trying to take my finger off with my bandsaw. just kissed the knuckle with the blade but enough to hit tendon and bone. i need to make a circle cutting jig. As I said totally enjoyed your videos and reckon you keep doing what you're doing. I'm sure your channel will grow heaps. love the humor and your inclusion of your better half. Can't wait for the next clip.
Thank you for your positive feedback and for subscribing. I’m sorry about the injury, that has to suck and most likely hurt like hell..ouch. As for the channel growing…. I sure hope so. I love doing this. I still have lots to learn but will continue moving forward. My only obstacle is making more videos more frequently but gets hard as I work a full time job and only do my woodworking weekends and nights. Once again thank you for subscribing.
Nice build. I've never got sea sick watching RUclips before.
Sorry about that.
@@reigadawoodworking It's all good. Board came out awesome. Another variation could be to fill the voids with some epoxy instead of additional blocks of wood.
@@breslaj4 I actually thought about that option. I think it’s a great idea. I’m probably going to make another one like that just need to make a decision on color or clear.
Just beautiful, I hope your good lady appreciates the gift. 😉
Thank you and yes She did. She doesn’t even want to use it. Lol. Just displaying it right now. Lol
That’s a really nice board! Well done. As far as the intro, spot on! That’s how it goes around here too😂
Thank you. Lol gotta keep the boss happy 😂😂😂
@@reigadawoodworking That’s right!
Good work Nice
Thank you
Great cutting board I will gave your channel try
Thank you
Subscribed, and looking forward to more videos from you. One suggestion: add some voice-over narration to the sections where you performing operations. For example, you might have talked about thre grits you were running through when sanding or what finishes you were applying.
Thank you for subscribing and thank you for the feedback. I am continuing to learn the RUclips process and want to make the videos better for all. Thank you again for the advice.
I was just thinking that it needs voiceover. I loose interest in these style videos cause I’m watching the work with no reference to what’s going on.
Thank you for your feedback. I am continuing to improve and do better videos. I have starting making sure I am adding voiceovers. Thank you for watching and providing feedback and I hope I have not lost you as a viewer.
Nice work, thank you for share with us.
Thank you
It's beautiful 👍🏾🇬🇧💙
Thank you
Beautiful!
Thank you
The use of a laminate waxed works great for glu ups. Nice piece.
Thank you

Nice board, but why is it woodworkers who make videos, all think they're comedians lol
Thank you. I can only speak on myself and say I just want to have fun doing what I love to do. Not trying to be a comedian, just being myself.
Well, he's doing something right because you LOL'd. Seems like he just has a sunny disposition.
Great job!
Thank you
What products do you use to finish it?
Food grade mineral oil. Then mineral oil/beeswax mix
Would it be fine to sandwich two 1" boards together to make a thicker board?
Yes that would work. I’m assuming your referring to the maple? It would be ok as long as it is surfaced to where you don’t see the joint/seem.
@Reigada Woodworking I've got a board of mahogany that's only 1 inch thick and I wanted to glue them so they are 2 inch thick. Then put a boarder to hide the seem.
@@trevorgeese2874 do you have a planer? As long as both boards are perfectly flat , complete glue coverage and clamp it together with as many clamps as you can to get an even squeeze … it will work great. I have done it many times especially when I need thicker stock for table legs for instance.
nice cutting board l welled like this board
Thank you
Very nice!!! But please, for the love of cutting boards, fix the table saw camera
Lol. I apologize for that. I didn’t realize it until I was editing and by that time it was way too late to start over. I do not plan on making that mistake again.
@@reigadawoodworking all good, great video, just wanted to bring it to your attention. It was quite dizzy inducing lol
Thank you
A thing of beauty. Great job.
Thank you very much 😁
Stunning! Happy wife = Happy Life! 😂👋 I just subbed your channel. Quality work
Very true 😁 Thank you very much for subscribing 😁😁.
No handles.
Thank you. I agree and decided against them
Done and will keep watching!
I will be posting a new video by this weekend on a basket weave cutting board. Stay tuned 😁
I love Purple Heart just hard to get in Australia.
Yes, Purple Heart is a beautiful wood, but sometimes hard to get and expensive
Excellent tutorial been woodworking for 45 years and still learn tips and tricks. Regards One Handed Maker
Thank you very much!
Greeting from Australia. Love the board and your video. I just discovered your channel and have subscribed. Regards One Handed Maker
Awesome, thank you!
Definitely a no to the handles. Beautiful work 😍
Thank you very much
They are beautiful. I think handles will take away from the focus of your work.
Thank you
Enjoyed your video.👍 I will file away a few nuggets I picked up from you to use on future boards. I found by soaking the boards in a container with 3-4 inches of mineral oil for 5 minutes, then letting them dry will increase penetration of the mineral oil into the boards. Lastly apply mineral oil and bees wax mixture and buff
Thank you for watching the video Ken.😁
I appreciate the "pay it forward" joke
Thank you 🤣🤣
