Silent Night! Holy Night
This Organ & Piano Duet of "Silent Night! Holy Night" is arranged by Marianne Kim. I had the utmost pleasure and honour of performing this Christmas Classic with Brett Hendrickx, (who is such an extremely talented pianist in his own right!) We performed this at a recent Christmas Concert and I was ecstatic that he was willing to come back to create this video (I can't thank him enough.) I hope everyone enjoys this song as much as I/we enjoyed playing it. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

O Come, All Ye Faithful Arr. by John Behnke
Просмотров 41Год назад
O Come, All Ye Faithful (arranged by John Behnke), played in a single minute!!! This was a challenge for me in several ways, with the biggest challenge being that the majority of the melody is played in the foot pedals so I really had to disassociate my hands from my feet (which never stopped) and let muscle memory play this song. After about 35 minutes of failed attempts (and a wee bit of curs...
Away in a Manger (Arr. by Jason Ripley)

With Christmas vastly approaching, this being one of my very favourite arrangements of Away In a Manger (the Cradle Song) (Jason's arrangements are amazing!), and now as the Organist at a church with a REAL Pipe Organ and CHIMES, I just had to record this song over again! This turned out to be a much better recording than I had hoped and much better than my first attempt last year. If you are i...
Meditation on "O Little Town of Bethlehem" Arr. by Paul Fey
Просмотров 122Год назад
This arrangement by composer Paul Fey is perfect for small pipe organs. It highlights the quiet Chimes, Strings and Flute stops of this particular organ. I was fortunate enough to be able to performed this piece live for the first time at my church's recent Christmas Concert. This video was taken back in 2019, a few months after finishing a 4 year rebuild - building a new cylinder, governor, clutch, flywheel, etc. Before getting the engine ready for the winter, I decided to steam up and power my 1/3 scale baker fan. There is lots of "Stack Music" in this video - Enjoy! To see the Before and After video of this engine, click the following link: ruclips.net/video/zQyM...

Todd's Model Waterloo on the model Sawmill & Baker Fan

After 4 years, Todd is nearing the completion of his scale model, scaled after a 25 HP Waterloo Ploughing Traction Engine. For the past couple of years, Todd has been displaying this engine a "Portable" engine, unable to move on its own power. Over the past winter, Todd has managed to cast the entire drivetrain and make wheels. Can't wait for people to see this engine at all of the Thresher's R...

Amazing Grace - Organ & Piano duet Arranged by Marianne Kim
Просмотров 1632 года назад
Thought I would share an Organ & Piano duet of "Amazing Grace", arranged by Marianne Kim, an incredible composer and musician from Chicago. I pre-recorded the piano part at home and play it over my portable speaker so I could perform the organ part live. This video isn't any special but the song was fun to perform.
Consider the Lilies * Arranged by Organist & Composer Jason Ripley

Back with another one of Jason Ripley's amazing arrangements titled "Consider the Lilies". I had the privilege of playing this piece on a 3-manual 1898 Casavant Organ pipe organ. Unfortunately, I only had my iphone to record with. As always, for the best sound quality, listen with earphone/buds (and please ignore all my mistakes - I can't tell you how nervous I was!!! LOL)

Threshing with a Waterloo Steam Engine
❤️👍
Great video, I enjoyed all 44 minutes of it.
Great video!
Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful time. And: "Guten Rutsch" meaning have a good start into the next year. Greetings from Germany.
The most beautiful song.
Absolutely beautiful. I led two different choir performing this cantata. What an impact it had on me, the choirs, and the congregations at both churches. The orchestral arrangement and the mix of new and not so new songs made this a really powerful program. Oh...the narration was truly inpired and both of my narrators honored Don Wyrtzens lead in the cleaver and moving storytelling, especially leading into One of Us. I tear up every time I hear this! God bless you!
It sounds great on this organ! I wish I had a pipe organ more accessible to me. I love the chimes!
Your warm arrangement was PERFECT for this organ… your arrangements and this organ are a great duo!
Wonderful! Really enjoyed this one. Cheers!
Thank you Jeff ☺️

Slow and steady wins the race.
Great video Jeff, really enjoyed it. The Goodison is a fine engine! re the Geo White Mary was driving - Do you happen to have any video from the footplate, or still photos of the driver's view on the 17 HP George White? I'm making a 3D printed static model of a larger GW and I need some details of how the clutch linkage works to expand the shoes. Any info greatly appreciated! Thanks and Cheers!
Running sweet as a nut! Great video! Thanks for sharing it. Cheers!

It’s beautiful Jeff. You are way too self-critical.
One of the first carols I learnt as a child [a VERY long time ago, getting old, 64, now]. Others I learnt early were Once in Royal David's City, Silent Night and While Shepherds Watched.
Wonderful job! It's beautiful!
This means a lot… thank you Jason!

I think his Engine was a Marshall portable. 👍
Absolutely fantastic video 👍👍My grandfather had a threshing business near Toowoomba Queensland Australia back in 1910 Best wishes for the future!!
What a great video! Your family has not only kept the this "second hand" beauty alive for years, but also lit the fire in the belly of your kiddos. I tip my hat to you all, keep it up 👍
That's just too cool, how much torque does that engine have to drive such a small spindle from that large flywheel, impressive!
that is just beautiful!
excellent video !!!
Thank you Lynn! 😊
