Minute 09:49 i think that the notes of the French horn are not so very beautiful orchestrated. Also in min. 06:30 is the orchestration not so very beautiful. It sounds likes thick chocolat. Lovely to eat but difficult to hear en play it. The rest of the symphonie is beautiful played, directed en orchestrated by Brian Newbouwld. The version of Felix Weingartner is a good first attempt of the full orchestration of the symphonie but its more Weingartner than Schubert.
Jaunty performance but horns in the photo with valves not available until over 50 years after this was composed - more tricky just stuffing your arm up it's orifice - so to speak.
