Testing a HiFi speaker with a RUclips song is like driving self built Ferrari with an old Toyota engine 🤣
toyota makes goood engines
Should wear long sleeve shirts when fighting stinging critters
If you don't wear a dust mask when using a spray gun, your lungs will be damaged.
Really good. That's a really fantastic Speaker. It for shure satisfy, and provide great super clean basstunes. And with exceptional drumkick like you were in a concert! And the good part is that even if you play music in low levels, it sounds amazing and big. I myself have isobaric subwoofers that I built myself. The low end is there , no one can argue anything.
Heck yeah!
heck yea!
how much rms power is it?
Now that’s using for shovel
Horizontal . . . . . . . . next time. Use a 2X8 spreader block. lll ram llllllllllll 2X8 block llllllllll 2X6 llllll 2X4 ====================== al sht lll lll 2X6 on end lll lll lll lll
Sounds like a lot of setup, thanks for the suggestion. I don’t think I’ll be bending more aluminum any time soon though.
How does one feed gold???
It’s a gentle sprinkle. Mostly in the wrist
2019 mustang GT owner here.. Manuel of course had to get that out of the way because if I had an automatic who would actually take what I'm saying seriously... Have 40,000 miles on the car not one issue everything is airtight and I really beat the shit out of this thing LOL but sorry to see your door hinge they're giving you problems I'm sure it's still under warranty and a easy fix
It’s not under warranty, Ford has a fix for it. A new door and door check. LOL 6 rivets. And a drill bit fixed it. Fords trash anymore, as far as I can tell
@@r4zom well the Ford escape is infamous for having a cardboard bottom to for sound deadening it's just really not a good vehicle
I think you’re right; the ford escape is a trash vehicle . I am glad I don’t own a ford.
@@r4zom I couldn't be happier with my mustang GT but yes like every manufacturer they have to kick out a piece of shit vehicle a lower-tier vehicle that literally proves that it's a lower-tier vehicle after Time
It’s probably for the best that ford doesn’t sell reliable low cost vehicles I guess?
A lot of those new escapes are having that problem
All this new junk isn't built to last and you paying twice as much for them now lol
They charge u the extra money it costs to make their product fail quicker. U think ots cheap making a vehicle you'll have to replace often? Lol.
Yeah, they really let quality go. I still stand by anything before 2000 though. I’ve got a 93 expedition that has over 400k on the engine and it runs like it’s brand new.
Did you hook them up backwards? So it projects the sound to the rear and not front of speaker?
I don't think that is a thing. This was torn apart and I used the components in another cabinet. check out that video!
@@r4zom my ohm Walsh's are hooked up backwards to project the sound up from the back of the speaker. Also the Walsh drivers foam in inverted. It's 100% a thing and I asked John from Walsh to make sure mine were not accidentally hooked up backwards
How do you compare the sound? I never listened to an isobaric before but I know you can make it half the size if you do two times the speakers and 2 times the power. From what I have read there's no besides space savings. Can you elaborate on the sound quality, performance and loudness
I didn't do any measuring on this box (how not to build one). I wanted to use all of the available watts my already installed amp had available. This was a fun project with an incredible result. It's still in my car hitting the low lows. I compare the sound with an "ass dino" feels and sounds great so it is!
It's more clean sound overall, and it hit the drumkick! You have a space between the inside of the box and the outside. It eliminate distorsion.
The perfect box for two 12s is a 6th order compound loaded isobaric box. If you have two 1,000 watt 12s it will sound like a 15 inch sub with much better lows then using a cheap typical box.
Revv up the Bugatti whey
It is pretty loud. But it was just chugging along at about 1,100-1,200RPM
Cool old machine. Is that in the highest gear? Lol
It was a few months ago. I think it was in 2nd of 4 gears, but in 4th on the top gear. So 4th of 4 on the shifter, but 2nd of 4 for the larger gears. Weird to explain.
The Ohm Walsh cone is flexible and acts as a lossy transmission line so that waves propagating down the cone flex the cone so that it radiates outward. Sorry, but that stiff aluminum cone is totally not going to do that. I suspect the woofer will have some deep nulls starting at around 1 kHz and up. To get midrange you might mount a 3" sealed back driver above the woofer facing up or down.
These have been dismantled and repurposed a while ago. I’m still rocking these. m.ruclips.net/video/pGWIp1NfkoU/видео.html
Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. great one. cool build!
Kinda cool for a classic design but can be improved a lot. The KEF blade is based on the voigts, but way more refined.
More cowbell!
Build a T-line isobaric box next
left a like just because of lightfoot .
How did you come to a decision on spacing the tweeters?
i just thought about putting them at head level from the couch.
Cool btw can you make world second best subwoofer plsss
I built this sealed box to with these speakers. It has the first subwoofer I ever bought filling in the bottom. I doubt it would be the worlds second best. Haha. It sure does fill out the bottom. I always enjoyed a sealed sub over a potted for the sound quality and tightness. m.ruclips.net/video/v6EVrA4-dmQ/видео.html
Tow that shit!!
Hell yeah
I would suggest using a spray painter's mask to protect your airways
it's intelligent to use ppe! thanks.
Keep up the good work!
I just need to think up a new project and hope it gets a little warmer
built them before, very good speakers with right fullrange..., great project
I’m still using them almost every day, I did add a sub for the low range. I made a video about using a plate amp with the first car sub I ever bought. It makes up the .1 in the 2.1 setup I’m rocking. Thanks for watching and enjoying the video!
A couple things to mention. Cleaning the screens and magnets. You just rubbed paper towel over them. You should be spraying them with brake cleaner. Filling up fresh oil. You topped it up to level and then that was job done. This is wrong. You need to start the engine after the first top up, and the level will go back down. Then do another top up to the correct level.
Thanks bro! I’m glad you liked the video I made as a cheat sheet for myself. I reference it every time I do my oil. I put the service manual pages and torq specs right in the beginning along with the tools to use. I showed the proper fill level. But usually yo will keep adding until you get back to it. Idk about cleaning screens that aren’t dirty with brake clean. I don’t think you want brake clean in your oil.
I had to make the cheat sheet video. Everyone’s video I saw on RUclips had 5 minutes of pointless talking in the beginning. Instead of. Here’s the tool you need and here’s the manual pages. All on a convenient 5 second hold so you can easily pause and zoom in and read what you need.
Yes, bass down to 60 hz.
You can use foldable mdf.
I’m not a huge fan of MDF It’s always so heavy and dusty to work with. A nice quality plywood is much preferred for me.
This box was special for fullrange. Haha a joking 2 way system. And wtf are this srews? No smaller. And black . Black homy.
Thanks for enjoying the video 👍
The white stuffing ruins midrange on speaker! ?
no
I'd ask why, but it must have been what you wanted. And that's a good enough answer for me =)
Hey its me , we know each other you better wear the blue ones bro
Nice bud 👍
Way to go!
moon glasses
Sticking an inverted woofer on a box is nothing like a Walsh speaker - as the resultant terrible sound clearly demonstrates
thanks for enjoying the video steve dribble, your positive critique fills me with joy.
Fitzgerald in the background. Still holds camp value. That enclosure is......is special.
Useless, nobody need that to listen to mp3
your opinion is yours, all sound is better when you produce the whole spectrum. enjoy your mono bluetooth speaker
I just got my speaker boxes put together. All I can say is Dam-it Boy. These really sound good. I know they don’t measure perfect to the computer analysts guys, but the thing about them is you can’t stop listening. If you decide to build these the best advice I can give you is to use a pocket hole jig to join the 2 sids an front baffle from the inside. Have Fun !!!
awesome, i am glad yours turned out well!
Simply copied the structure and believe it to be the same?
Are you mad that I did a fun project with some speaker components I already owned?
I made a isobaric box from a 1.5 cubic foot vented box with two 10s that can take 3000W RMS on a 4000 watt RMS amp that hits stupid hard and deep
nice!
Cool stuff my friend. I am thinking of doing this project. Could you help with the port opening dimensions? Height is missing in Tech Ingredients diagrams. Appreciate it!
I’m not sure where in his instructions it was printed or if I just sent it. I thought it might have had mention though. I would re check his directions for the port opening.
@@r4zom Thanks, I did further reading to note height is 15cms. My. Build should be up in a weeks time. 👍🏻
@@Iamjgun sounds good buddy!
6 inches is the height of the port
nice build but may I ask what crossover network parts were used and the tweeter model
the tweeter used is a CAT 298, and the crossover is parts express's generic 8 ohm 2k crossover
What is the tweeter?
cat298
Hey im the first comment, are you proud of me?
i couldn't have done it without you !
I saw you yesterday
If i leave a comment will u be my friend
Definitely big guy!
I have done the same speakers copied from the other video but 3 way and they sound amazing
I believe it, these turned out very well also.
