Reminds me of Rostorchester. (they are a killer Melodic Black Metal band btw, highly recommend them, i bet you could learn a few tricks for riff writing from them.)

there was an album that sounded sorta like this .....but about the 3rd song it gets deep & the guy starts telling a story,talking voice within the music, saying theyre taking a break in the breakroom in walmart & some girl grabs a boxcutter & cut her wrist & he relaized he no longer hates life when he saw that & then the music upturns a bit ,has guitar distorted & piano even. ..heard it about 5 years ago got hooked & after a few years forgot the name & now its lost somewhere on RUclips amongst the million other bands.

it is indeed the last one released but its the first chapter of the triology. gonna dig this masterpiece occasionally until its time for me to go with the black rabbit.
