Why is the smaller ipad pro with a smaller battery life has a longer battery life?

Guy i just bought ipad air m2 and I think the volume of the voice is very low like I couldn’t hear anything unless the volume in middle range

My IPad 10th gen fcking last 12 hours just watching. Seriously the battery is insane! Meanwhile my M2 5 hours.. guess bigger screen drains battery faster.

Watching this after I was wondering why my 2021 11 inch iPad pro dies after only watching RUclips for 4-5 hours which I thought wasn’t great, finding myself realizing it actually holds up better than the newer models despite being older and the battery probably not being at it’s full capacity compared to when I bought it… what’s going on with the batteries Apple, my 15 Pro has poor battery compared to the 13 and 14 models as well like what’s wrong with the newer generation’s batteries ?

I can use my ipad pro m2 on disney plus for hours and only drain 20% for half a day but use ipad on ml and after 3, 30 minute matches, I drop down to 60% from 90. I guess it depends on the app really. Oh and the brightness, I like having mine on the minimum brightness. Anyone else notice after charging, you can use the ipad for one hour and it won’t drain even 1%?

Warning to everybody who owns an iPad from 2017 without warning after five years the battery heats up and swells thus it just starts dissolving all the components in your iPad and fries the motherboard I just lost five years worth of work because of swollen battery started to just leak inside the iPad and burned out the motherboard that’s erasing all the data this is just another reason why you never ever ever want to invest in Tim Cook’s dream which becomes your nightmare

Was this done in full brightness? And doesn't Apple state they can last over 8hours "watching media/video"? Are they testing this at the bare brightness to qualify for a screen to be "on" and lowest compression to save on rendering power?

i bought iphone 14 pro max at almost 2000$ but with case and tempered glass and charger i spent 2000$ i wish i bought ipad pro instead since i don’t even bring it outside rip
