What if Kid A by Radiohead was an ambient album?
This is the start of what might become a series where I take albums and mix them in such a way to have an ambient effect
The first such album is the innovate and highly praised Kid A by Radiohead, heralded as one of the greats when it comes to the electronic genre

@@tripvoid509 no there’s a number of mixing effects + added mastering, however it is slowed, but if i just slowed it down I would call it slowed

it is slowed, but that’s not the only effect otherwise i’d just call it slowed. It depends on what works with the song but i always add frequency enhancements, transposition, chorus effects, delay, reverb etc. it’s not as pronounced as what I do with psychedelic mixes, but it is still there

What is the Trafford edition? Isn't this taken directly from Meat Is Murder? Thanks
Basically, I spend a lot of time mixing and mastering my favourite albums and instead of calling them Alternative Mixes I give them their own name that somehow relates to the project. in this case, it’s called Trafford Edition because Morrissey was born in the borough of Trafford. Whilst the original song is from Meat Is Murder, if you was to listen to the original and this one you would notice the difference, the tempo is slower, it’s tuned down one semitone, has added effects in the mix and then a few frequency enhancements to keep the originals quality.
