Another dull day in Fife. I think the hole at the lower left is over the Westfield power station.

Trying out my new chean'ncheerful 0.45x wide angle lens on the Fuji S9500. Not especially sharp but good enough for clouds. A bit squint because I didn't spend a lot of time on the setup.

Driving from Rejects in Kirkcaldy to ASDA then on to Glenrothes along the A92 Thornton Bypass. Converting the files from my Traveler DV5000 seems to speed everything up!

LEGO NXT controlled DIY motorised pano head video
I've been wondering what that route looked like now for years, and I'm pleased to see it's much as I remember it - except that Auchterderran High School, the Lochgelly Centre & Opera House are now gone... These places were never the same after all the (Co-op) Store departments shut in 1981, mind you. I can even mind of sitting at a near standstill at Cowdenbeath Station bridge, reading the BR posters of the special day return price of 56p to Edinburgh...!!
Really takes me back , listening to Real Radio , the infamous Robin Galloways , wind up in the morning , there has never been anything that came close to pee your pants funny , So hilarious . thank you Kat and Robin .
No Profillis chip shop, no ideal cafe. Damn i miss those two places!
What song is playing on the background?
Thanks for posting....did 10 years there ....Glenwood High School and my first real job at Beckmans.......played a lot of 10pen bowling and learned how to drink at the Rothes Arms Hotel. Great days. My other 'job" was playin drums in a 3 piece band..all the Gay Gordons stuff..and that takes me back to Cupar......the Masonic Lodge...my word could they party.....and it had to be the smokiest venue I have ever played. Used to unpack my drumkit back into my bedroom..and my mum would complain....the stale smoke on the cymbals.....it was like being in a bar! At 61 I am very comfortable with that odour and that ambience! Thanks again......and absolutely enjoying the music. It's obviously not The Who...but who is it? Red beans and lentils from Kaapstad.
I bet prisoners on day release never go to Cowdenbeath.
hey man bit random but ive mad an amvient style song using recordings i found of people planning the thornton bypass and was wondering if you would mind if placed it over this bit of footage. its purely just for fun. im not making any money or anything. if not thats cool but no harm in asking. hope your well.
Bad internet on the Auchtertool road… I live about 6 minutes away from there!
Even tho a bit dreich lookin in that vid & there's quite a big difference in areas of the town since then you can still see why Glenrothes has won or been up there in the running for the Beautiful Scotland award the past few years..
Never changed in 37 years I've been gone! Enough said!
You drove past my house!!
Stayed here until I was 14. Southwood primary and glenwood high. I loved it back then and lovey to see the place again.
Good video, u missed all the old ladies too scared to pull out of the junction at the Glenrothes end causing endless delays to traffic :)
Great design, I've been looking through your photos but can't seem to find the answer. How did you attach the Lego chain links to the rotary head? I can see some green/blue material popping out but not sure what it is? Thanks
How do you mount your camera?
Ah, that brings back a lot of memories.
The 'Redhouse Roundabout', seen at 12:36, normally causes huge queses at rush hour, (Not on the A92, but on the road leading to the right) because someone decided to put a roundabout there instead of a Flyover
Even thought there were some red lights, and a bit of traffic , you did not disappoint! You took me where I wanted to go and showed me what I wanted to see! TY! Lyn Thor!
quicker getting the bus mate
what mounting kit did you use for this? pretty steady filming by the way
i was told that the best way to take speed hump. stradling just pushes the wheels out the way. whos right? lol
loads of lochgelly past and present on my channel at huggy176 enjoy :)
whats this song called? good tune mate.
Great idea for a series, good on you.
I've fired the scriptwriter.

Hi, maybe you can try 1/4 ground and 3/4 cloudy sky. Bye
Hi, you chose a very beautiful music to accompany the clouds? SUPER...!
A summer day...
Pleasant time lapse !
This music is in harmony with the movements of the clouds, Nice video.
Pleasant video. The clouds in movement and the music go together.
Intervalometers about £36 on ebay (mine was only £22!). Watch that you get the right connector for your model, ones marked as suitable for the S3Pro, S4Pro, etc have a Nikon compatible plug.
It is better with music (good choice).
interesting clouds
A travel from home for me.
Thanks for the Video. As a young lad home on leave from the Paras i used to run this route to keep in shape. I now live in California. Once again thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Been running for 48 years. I'd love to run this. I live in Ohio.
The music is in harmony with the clouds
What a spazz who can't spell "what" Mon the Raith!!!
I live in Cluny, Bourgogne, France !!!

The name of the tripod with remote control is LEGO NXT ?
Pleasant time lapse.
Interesting clouds.
Interesting video, the forth bridge looks much better now without the scaffolding! :)
76 service bus ftw!!!!
I have been doing this exact same journey twice a day 3 times a week taking my father for his dialysis, luckily a place came up at Kirkcaldy it now makes thing a lot easier only 10 mins traveling from Glenrothes now :) , Just waiting on the new unit opening in January 2012.
