Welcome to Horrific Tales and Ghostly Trails! | New Channel Announcement
Paul did great. He has a very nice storyteller voice, and is a great storyteller.
I really enjoy these video so very much
Just found this channel yesterday evening, and I´ve been binge watching all evening and I´m going to do so to day. This man has such a great voice and is a great storyteller.
I listen to your telling of this story often while I work. It has become one of my favourite stories, and sent me on a hunt for tales similar to this. But I keep coming back to this one over and over! Your delivery is perfect and the story itself is just the right level of spooky for me. I am also a "habitual dreamer" and have had my own instances of being in a place I've originally seen in my dreams. Though for me the only malicious thing that comes from such instances is a sense of confusion and disassociation, rather than what is in "the room in the tower"😅
I love these ghostly stories the best Robin! Thanks for every one of them you give us!
The Church was right to ban the procession if that's what the bloodthirsty idiots who attended it were like; drunken murderers.
Any reason why the name was blanked out at 17:40? It is some kind of copyright thing? Or some kind of audio glitch? Just curious. Loved these stories! So interesting!
Thank you so much for all the hard work, beautiful filming, and wonderful storytelling. It is such a treat, and I enjoy seeing your little dogs, too. Although I guess you don't take them on the night walks where it gets a bit 👻 Spooky💙💚💜
I love the opening sound it sounds sooo good❤
Thank you very much for another wonderful programme 😊
Thankyou Mr Shuckburgh for the stories and history of these sites and the County. My favourite online influencer I love this particular area, and it is a very atmospheric area to visit in winter .
great stories very spooky !
The story of the Bride who became locked in the Chest sounds very sad & quite likely true. Imagine how she suffered prior to dying? Also her poor Groom &:family must have never got over her disappearance.
As local in Witney you are talking about where Unwins was and The Mount House is pointing your camera at completely different buildings the other side of the road to each.
I love the way you tell a ghost story. 😊❤️
Wonderful storytelling😊
Thank you! When one lives alone, it is so nice to have a pleasant evening being told ghost stories. Thank you for a nice time.
I agree!!
King, schming! I believe that venerable oak was a favorite of the Fae!
I'm imagining very tipsy spirits in a barrel of beer.
I love ghost stories at Christmas time! These were so wonderfully spooky, Robin. Thank you so much for sharing them with us! 👻🎄❤
Love this channel ❤
I could listen indefinitely Thank you

Your voice is perfect for ghost stories. I love your channel!
I had always thought that Amy Dudley's maiden name was Robsart.🇺🇸☕🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🌧
Do more!!!!
Oxford Prison, as it was, is now a luxury boutique hotel. It was featured in an episode of Lewis. I can imagine there are many screams of pain, emerging from inside the old prison. They are guests who have just seen the bill for the mini bar. 😳😫
Having been inside Oxford Prison during the time it was operational, I can confirm there was never any evil spirits or haunting presence’s ever felt during my stretch. Maybe the ghosts were scared to come into my cell, ha ha 🤪
Historic Oxford city centre, where the colleges are, is very atmospheric by night. The streets are very dark, as can be seen in this video. It's many years since I visited. There used to be a ghostly van that would stop in various streets, after dark, selling doner kebabs out of the back. Anyone buying such a kebab would later be a victim of severe indigestion. Could they be cursed ?
Really enjoying these videos guys great work 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I enjoy listening to the ghostly stories!
This deserves many more likes!
Robin, this is an absolute delight 🤗💜
Although now in Gloucestershire, I was lucky enough to be schooled in Bath and spend my teenage years here upright up to my mid twenties. I worked at the old Royal National Hospital For Rheumatic Diseases on Upper Borough Walls, a building dating back to the 18th century and saw some strange things there that were simply impossible to put into any rational context!
Great story! ...blue paint on the face is a lil weird, but hey, i get it! Atmosphere!!
Anything been done about minster lovell hall i have had many good nights
Enjoy all of your ghostly tales and history walks 👍👻
Can somebody explain to me which episode has the domesday book in it cuz I have no idea what he's referencing
Most old cathedrals, theaters and churches, are almost are always haunted; because those buildings were stolen. Take a look at history books and wiki, and see the contradictions. It is absolutely impossible to finish those buildings with just chisels, in 6 years or less. Nowadays, they cannot even replicate those grand structures. And remember, there were no power tools and no construction machines back then, supposedly. Also notice how many of them "accidentally" catch fire, with the arson never being identified or found; very convenient. I guess stone is super flammable, haha. Those are the haunts and ghosts of the previous owners, the previous builders. Those structures were repurposed. They got that *masonry* for *free*.
4:50 When patrons returned the following morning, the drinks they abandoned the night before had been consumed..... did they hear a ghostly *burrrrrrrrrrrpppppppppp?* LOL😁
Perfect for Halloween!
Really enjoy these videos!! Happy Halloween from n Idaho, USA!!🎃🎃
