Just wanted to report back that I have successfully install VER 7.2.2 I will say that while I did not use your method.. the one suggested was just as easy to follow. I will say you gave me the push I needed to get it going. It was very much touch and go because I did not know what the loaders may have been doing with my data. But in the end it worked out and alot of my problems were hardware 'per-se. Like instead of installing from USB port on the front of the computer I ran it from the back and it cleared the last hurdle. Thank you!

Thanx for video, it was very helpfull. One question. I need to have usb drive plugged in for every time NAS boot? I mean after I install everything and shutdown NAS, for next boot I need to plug in initial usb drive?

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I had used tinyredpill to setup DSM 7 on a HP N54L and got stuck at 7.1.1 with no way forward and no ability to use quick connect. I have installed exactly using your instructions and have now got DSM 7.2.2-72806 installed on DS3622XS+ with quickconnect sorted - thanks again
