Definitely the best message I’ve ever heard on the prodigal son! I’ve followed your Branch Together daily devotional for a couple years (which I strongly encourage anyone to do who struggles adhering to daily Bible reading) but this is the first time one of your sermons has shown up in my feed so probably not by coincidence. But the rest of the story is now I know I’m called to do something with this so I pray that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I’ll allow Jesus to work in me in being less like the older son.
Hi from Wales UK. We have just been given the okay to reopen our churches under obviously new rules to keep us safe. What is the virus situation in Branch church area? Thinking and praying for you Xx
Hi Andrea, I apologize for not getting back sooner. Right now our area seems to be getting better numbers in terms of lower death rate being reported and hospitals reporting better numbers in regard to patients and patients on ventilators. Unfortunately we are seeing an increase in transmissions which has been attributed to people not wearing masks and social distancing. Our churches (Branch and First Baptist) are having outdoor worship services, prayer groups and bible studies along with indoor small socially distant prayer meetings. We have increased the number of these meetings so to try and encourage greater attendance. We also are still doing Zoom prayer meetings and of course the Sunday Virtual Service that we are so happy and encouraged that you have been watching. We plan on continuing the Virtual Service even after the church completely opens up. We thank you for your prayers and we pray and hope the reopening of your church goes well and that the Lord will bless you and keep you safe!
@@stephenbrown4924 Thanks for replying. I will continue to pray for you. I so appreciate your online services and the Bible studies each day that Jared usually gives. Even though we are miles away you are still my brothers and sisters in Christ. It is unbelievable that people still don't see how important it is to wear masks and social distance! Where I live the rate of infection at the moment is very low with only four people in hospital with Covid. However it is rising again in England but Wales is at present okay. Not a time to be complacent though. Thank you for all the encouragement and upholding since March. I try to share your messages each week. May God bless you and keep you all safe x
