Monster Legend: Rock Apes
#Rockapes #bigfoot #cryptid
The Rock Apes, also known as the Rock Apes of Vietnam, Batutut, Ujit, or Người rừng ("jungle people"), a group of alleged violent humanoids reportedly sighted multiple times during the Vietnam War, which ranged from 1955 to 1975. These creatures were seen mostly by American G.I.s, who told their stories after returning home. Rock Apes were described as hairy, Sasquatch-like humanoids. They were said to be from three to seven feet tall, stout, and very muscular, and some with protruding stomachs. Their hair ranged from red, orange, brown, and black in color, covering everywhere except for their knees, the soles of their feet, hands, and face. The feet of the Rock...

At least form a non-dogmatic point of view. FYI if you are dogmatic, maybe skip this video, becaus...

Ive been talking to crows for decades. I've learned how to communicate with them and ive learned their speech. Every Crow that nears me discovers they've pondered into a Giant Crow/man's world. The Crows are my friends..And yes it's true you must learn the calls and their meaning. It's their language and if you learn the language and call it with safety and compassion they will respond as a newly met and trusted friend.

One of my awesome experiences with crows - I usually practice on my ukelele near an open sliding door that overlooks the garden. One day, to my great amazement, a crow came, purched on a low hanging tree branch and started to sing along with my playing. How special - That made my day.

I was visiting the Grand Canyon and saw some birds, either Crows or Ravens, they were soaring the thermals coming up off the canyon floor. THEN some of them were flying from the Rim into the Thermal, THEN flipping upside down and soaring upwards in the thermal on their backs! I watched them for nearly an hour and at least 4 crows were soaring in those thermals and updrafts.

I once passed a corvid and called it a "stupid fucking bird" but in a very quiet and gentle voice. The stupid fucking bird cawed at me loudly. I then saw a decapitated rat in front of my porch a few days later, which was half a mile from where I saw the bird. I never put two and two together but now I think I know the bird liked the way I called it stupid.

A murder of about a dozen surrounded a hawk perched on a tree top and were vocalizing dramatically. Their vocalizations were not mere cawing but a complex variety of strange sounds I cannot begin to describe in words. The hawk seemed unperturbed, almost entertained by all the attention, and after just over an hour flew away nonchalantly without incident. None of the crows pursued it, falling silent and lingering a while before departing together a few minutes later.

Cat and dog food (dry type), and peanuts are my go to... And I use three clicks to get them to come to me right before feeding them... then I'll sit outside and talk to them while they're playing in the bird bath.. sometimes it'll bring and leave little gifts for me by my door or on my table where I tend to sit and relax... and the one crow that I started feeding has a friend maybe it's mate, but he'll get with them maybe 2 ft of me and make cackling sounds, jump around and so forth... him and his mate both help me with some mice control by grabbing the mice and flying them away😂... Anyways, that's my experience with the two by my home...

I have a holiday home that has tall cypress trees full of crows. The chicks often fall out but they are either too young for me to keep alive or another animal finds them before me. The neighbours don’t like the noise, but I find it soothing. Without them, I’d have gulls as it’s on the coast. So crows are preferable

Charles Dickens had a pet crow he called Grip. He featured Grip in his novel Barnaby Rudge. Last year me and my dog were sitting on some rocks on a hill and above us perched on the rocks a Crow we were all enjoying the peace. When suddenly the crow flew up and kept cawing at me and my dog. So we got up to leave and I noticed about 30yards away a group of hickers heading toward the rocks. The crow was warning us

I saw a show on PBS years ago. In the show they set up puzzles that crows would eventually solve to get access to food. For one of the puzzles the crows used a small tool to unlock the food and once one crow solved it, the information was shared with the other members of the murder. They are a very intelligent species.

Crows / Ravens can remember people's faces. This has been proven by various experiments carried out at some universities; ravens were caught on university grounds for their tests and then later released again. For years, the people who caught the ravens were attacked by them when they were discovered by the ravens. Nowadays, they only catch the ravens with masks that they have to wear so that the ravens cannot remember them and attack them. They are probably the most intelligent birds on earth; they solve complex tasks and use tools in some cases. Even when a raven dies, they hold a kind of ritual to mourn.
