@@TrentCetera You did convey it the correct way. Age of consent is meant to protect those (depending on state) a couple to a few years older than the individual. It is NOT there to promote and or protect 40 year old dudes from whatever he was trying to do or say with a minor.

No mate issue is that people cannot understand that messaging a minor inappropriately is not the same with conversations leaning to the direction of being inappropriate. Also the word inappropriate is not always sexual related.

can you please explain the difference between messaging A minor inappropriately and those same messages leaning to the direction of being inappropriate? what is leaning towards? implication? So it's cool to imply Inappropriate stuff to a minor? if they are just "jokes" as he says then show us, but he cant because he knows fully well those messages would turn even you guys away from any type of defense. Its one of those things where clearly you don't like guys like me poking facts into the knit blanket defense that was given to us. Any interrogation expert realizes when the innocent are accused they freak out and do anything they can to prove their innocence, only the guilty use legal jargon and choose their words wisely because the innocent always believe they are innocent and don't need to formulate the perfectly worded tweet and "play with journalists" to Imply their innocents.

Noone made me god or a judge buddy, I made a video about the opinion I have. Am I doing this for views? duh...... what kind of "gotcha" is that? every creator including dr disrespect is doing this for views and clout its called making waves in a community that's thriving to gain opportunity. you call it clout chasing, I call it reporting and giving my opinion about things that are relevant in the topics I find interesting.

It wasn’t a criminal court proceeding. Plus you can easily hide intentions in messages without giving away enough to go to jail for. Barely legal and morally correct aren’t the same things. Ultimately what matters is what he actually said, did it seem like there was intent? He says no but, we have no real evidence to actually see, it’s all he said/she said back and forth. Technically speaking Doc hurt himself more with his OWN tweet. It just made him look worse and yes maybe he is innocent of any true wrong doings but, his tweet just really looked bad and his responses made it look arguably worse. All in all I hope he can clear his name if he is innocent like he claims. We shall see what happens.

we should all have a good moral compass and not look up to people who have a very poor one lets say she was 18 do you think a married man with a child has a good moral compass and should be looked up to. i know its hard to turn your back on someone that you really liked and respected and that is so entertaining i totally get it it happens alot with famous people

@@TrentCeteraYou could use some better thumbnails, I think it would actually help you a lot. Good video though nonetheless. The thumbnail for this video wasn’t too bad, I clicked on it cause it peaked my curiosity but, I’ve looked at your other thumbnails and I do think there is some room for improvement. Simpler is better I’ve learned, less congestion with bright easy to see colors, contrast, seems to be best. Add that with a great title obviously.

Innocent until proven guilty. The accuser should come forward and provide evidence for such accusations. It's not the defendant's obligation to prove his innocence.

@hurleymacfar for sure. His attitude is questionable. But at the same time, we would not know how it would have turned out if he approached differently. To me, the most questionable act he made thus far was his tweet confirming he was talking to a minor, but then denying in his recent stream. Makes you wonder if he tweeted that in the heat of the moment and was not thinking rationally. Not sure 🤔

its not the publics obligation to look the other way when their own moral values have been diminished by the creator they watch. Your so hung up on if what he did was legal and don't ever stop to think if what he did was morally correct. google the definition of subjective vs objective reality. a person doesn't have to be objectively wrong in the eyes of the law for us to find that person subjectively immoral in the eyes of upstanding people. messaging a minor and it getting inappropriate in a way worth hiding is morally incorrect and people are allowed to judge those actions.

exactly! saying that you forgave yourself and getting a tatoo doesnt give you a new lease on life.
