It's generally a failed shackle or recovery point on a hard line that causes death, a knot on chassis should be relatively harmless as the knot will be the failure point. These aren't the safest or most conventional methods but I'm sure where these guys are from this is just how they do it. They sure put that terrano through hell 🤣

Proper recovery points might save someone from getting killed or injured. If you have seen a rope go through a windscreen you might change your minds
