This was on March 30th in SKCMTA competition and I won a trophy! Pianist: Chester Pham
Phenomenal piece man! I love the late classical inspired first theme and that cool romantic second theme! It makes for a really cool mix of influences. You can hear some beethoven with the passionate chords, broken octaves and use of dynamics, some Mozart or Bach in the beginning with the classical touch and baroque counterpoint, and even some Rach or Chopin in the arpeggios in the second theme. All together it creates a unique and super fun piece that doesnt overstay its welcome or feel uninspired. Id say the only part I wasnt sure on was the transition back to the first theme. I think some space between those two ideas could sound awesome. Amazing piece man, excited to see more of your stuff 🙌
@@DamianVarnum thanks for the feedback. The MuseScore playback didn’t really accelerate to the first tempo so that could be the reason why it didn’t sound correct. I didn’t know how to fix it yet so I just left it as is. But otherwise, thank you. 🙏

Now, the reason I added reverb was because i thought it would give a more realistic sound, and I think It did it’s job. It sounds like you’re in a recital or Carnegie hall. I will make another longer polonaise if this gets some likes 😮

As a composer also this makes my compositions look like Child's play. It would be cool if you made a video on your thought process on how to make a composition like this. Anyways amazing work and please dont atop because you music outstanding!
I think of a random melody and add some “simple” details and pretty much call it a day. But for example, an orchestra arrangement, id also take a random melody and add accompaniment/highlight to other strings. But as you can tell, it’s not very easy to do, something that involves a lot of creativity.
If I did make a video it wouldn’t be great because I don’t currently have an editing software to use.

Well done! By the way, if you're frustrated by Musescore's terrible Send to RUclips feature, I recommend taking snips of your sheet music, exporting your audio to a .wav file, and making these videos yourself in a video editor. That way, you have full control over video and sound instead of being at the mercy of Musescore. If you're interested, DaVinci Resolve is free, intuitive, and robust. Keep up the good work

@@bojkennoven I’m working on another Etude actually.
Some of the slurs, cresc, and decresc parts are typos especially Allegretto part is a typo. The slurs on the left hand are supposed to be the same. So don’t listen to the auto slur thingies. Same thing at measure 32 1:01, the right hand lower voice, the slur isn’t going all the way even though it’s supposed to
I really like this, I only have one criticism point about it and that is that the "a tempo" change at the end (bar 38) feels a little weird, other than that sounds amazing
